  1. So I do creamy peanut butter but what is PB2?
  2. completely normal. I am 5 wks out and for that reason my doc has me on full liquids til 6 wks out. Its easy at this point to start dumping and pushing our pouch for stuff don't need yet. The only thing i have other than full liquids is i have a few crackers with my Soups and a teaspoon of Peanut Butter. Try backing off the vegies and concentrate more on letting your pouch accept the healing and good soups. Also try something hot to drink in the morning, sometimes will soothe your pouch. I was never a Breakfast person and nothing has changed that. Enjoy not being hungry, this is our time to really lose this weight..
  3. well I am pretty sure it was the fact that I drank it too fast. Doc said my pouch is the size of an egg and it was about 10 oz of water with the unjury. My husband thinks when we dump its not always the last thing we had but the combination of the size and value of what is in our pouch.. I had not had anything in over an hour and the last thing I had was a teaspoon of peanut butter, so all I can figure is that I drank it too fast.
  4. Last night at 6on I decided to have a protein drink for dinner and get on the bed for a movie since hubby is out of town. I mixed my unjury and I guess I rushed it.. I spent an hour between passing out, hot flash, cold flash, nausea, puking. . Never puked, never fainted but I was better off dead!!
  5. No, you will be ok. There is very few that don't lose weight.. when in doubt, just try over eating lol no not really!! Lets just say when you dump the first time you are convinced your gonna end up a stick!
  6. Yes and don't worry, I also stay constipated even using things to help. What was your surgery weight and current
  7. Yes a pound and took 5 days to drop it and 1 more
  8. For some reason I don't want yogurt, pudding or Jello, I guess it's the texture
  9. Even when you start solids, bacon lettuce and tomatoes are some of the hardest to try to eat.. I was bummed out about that because of garden season coming. I have decided to make and can salsa this year since tomatoes will be hard to eat on my new pouch
  10. Dee, my husband is a yr out and yes make sure you are chewing very fine before swallowing. . Sounds like you get some food stuck
  11. Jane, I don't consider you a slow loser at all. 249 to 219 in 7 wks is awesome! I'm 190 to 170 in 6 wks and get upset but what did I expect? We have less to drop so it will be a little slow.. your doing awesome!
  12. Truely tragic. There are no words to express this pain. My heart goes out to you all
  13. Also turkey chili in the can is awesome
  14. I have Campbell cream soups with light sour cream. I also go to places like subway and Panera bread and get their tomato soups and broccoli soups
  15. I are a small amount if chicken salad at noon.. tummy hurts a little. What do y'all take for that?
  16. All declare different. My doc only wants me to have 1 protein drink a day for first 6 weeks
  17. Just because your in mushy stage I would still do protein drink for breakfast. . Some people on here are really pushing too much protein. . We really only need 40-60 a day per my doc
  18. Yes this journey just began.. I'm a very slow loser 2-3 lbs a week. I'm a month out and only down 18# total.. but it will continue to drop and yours will too. Part of losing weight is attitude too.. come on gal, you can do this!
  19. My turn around was day 10 but at day 21 I was and still am after 1 month having pain due to constipation
  20. I have the same issues. Surgery was Jan 9. My pain in that area started 3 wks out.. it was so bad yesterday I almost went to ER. I finally figured out what it is. I am having trouble going poo. . I only go about every 5 days. On day 4 and 5 it's pushing on my surgery area, especially when I bend or move a certain way. I went potty today and no pain at all today
  21. It's ok, I did too. Doc said it's ok as long as it's not still black. The first bout is usually black blood from surgery. If your still having black diarrhea. They will do a simple blood test to see if it is new bleeding somewhere. . It happen to me and I was fine.
  22. I started hurting on the left side a week ago. I have only had a few BMs since surgery, about every 5 days. I hurt so bad but I think it's gas etc.. my left side muscles feel so sore I have started moving slow.. I feel like I'm worse not better.. suggestions?
  23. There has to be other people in your area that has had this surgery.. look for them, go to support group, make friends
  24. Don't be discouraged, I'm only losing 2-3 lbs a week too and I'm still on cream soup! I only get about 600 calories a day! I am even using my elliptical and no I'm not gaining muscle.. so we are both slow.. bright side is we are losing!
