    The Slow Losers Thread

I had lap band first too. After 1 YR AND 2 months I moved to this. With the band I had lost 45 and gained 10 back. O fought to lose every pound. I was jogging 4 miles a day. Nice muscled legs but still a big girl. I had my bypass on Jan 9. I'm 6 wks out and 20# down.. that's slow.. I'm eating full liquids still. Others on mushies are losing more than me.

    Morning Sickness

completely normal. I am 5 wks out and for that reason my doc has me on full liquids til 6 wks out. Its easy at this point to start dumping and pushing our pouch for stuff don't need yet. The only thing i have other than full liquids is i have a few crackers with my Soups and a teaspoon of Peanut Butter. Try backing off the vegies and concentrate more on letting your pouch accept the healing and good soups. Also try something hot to drink in the morning, sometimes will soothe your pouch. I was never a Breakfast person and nothing has changed that. Enjoy not being hungry, this is our time to really lose this weight..

    my first problem

well I am pretty sure it was the fact that I drank it too fast. Doc said my pouch is the size of an egg and it was about 10 oz of water with the unjury. My husband thinks when we dump its not always the last thing we had but the combination of the size and value of what is in our pouch.. I had not had anything in over an hour and the last thing I had was a teaspoon of peanut butter, so all I can figure is that I drank it too fast.
  8. No, you will be ok. There is very few that don't lose weight.. when in doubt, just try over eating lol no not really!! Lets just say when you dump the first time you are convinced your gonna end up a stick!

Even when you start solids, bacon lettuce and tomatoes are some of the hardest to try to eat.. I was bummed out about that because of garden season coming. I have decided to make and can salsa this year since tomatoes will be hard to eat on my new pouch

    Diarrhea

It's ok, I did too. Doc said it's ok as long as it's not still black. The first bout is usually black blood from surgery. If your still having black diarrhea. They will do a simple blood test to see if it is new bleeding somewhere. . It happen to me and I was fine.
