I should be having my surgery in about an hour. I know the next few days/months will be tough, but I'm still excited.

I will be getting sleeved tomorrow. I have to be at the hospital at 5:45 am. I can't wait!!

My co-worker defintely just told me i was acting like a Biotch, lol. I can't help it. I only have to do 3 more days but I am starving and this Bariatric Advantage shake is disgusting

Hi I'm kind of a newbie, I've been reading for months and have only posted a few times. I had my 6th and final nutrition appointment on Tuesday and everything was submitted that day. I called my insurance yesterday and I've been approved! My surgery will more than likely (and hopefully) be on July 22nd. I can't wait to be on the other side.

Hi everyone. I have finally read all 178 pages and am ready to actively participate! I am 28 years old, 282 pounds and 5' 7". I just met with my Dr. And NUT on 1/7/14 and I have to meet with the NUT for the next 5 months for my insurance to approve so I'm hopeful for a late June/ early July surgery date. I am so inspired and motivated by all of your journeys. I cannot wait to get on the losers bench and no longer feel like the "fat girl." I wish everyone much succes in reaching and maintaining their goals.
