    band to sleeve insurance?

I am trying to find the billing code for lo band to sleeve revision and I will call
  2. I had a band done in mexico back in 2005. My band was causing me pain last year and I got all of the fill taken out and have gained 30 lbs. I am looking into the sleeve revision. I talked to a coordinator at a bariatric hospital who called my insurance and called me back and said I have wonderful coverage and it will cost me at most $100 out of pocket but there is a 6 month supervised diet I would have to follow and my BMI of 36 prob wouldnt be covered because my only comorbidity is fatty liver which is secondary. I asked about my lap band causing my issues and she said I could get it taken out outpatient. Anyway I was a little disappointed but was thinking has anyone had band complications and got the sleeve covered with out doing the supervised diet? I am just wondering if she had correct information because she didnt know I had the band when she called my insurance. I am looking into going to Mexico again but would rather have it done local if covered. Thank you for any replies!

    Food stuck HELP!

I have been banded for over 8 years, I had it done in Mexico. I saw a Dr. near home a few times for fills but have not seen a Dr. in years. (I know I should). I eat too fast and PB often. Last night I ate a hot dog too fast and PB'd a lot of it up. I felt like something was still there, everything I ate after the hot dog came back up. Today I still felt like something is still there. I can get liquids down but no food. I did get what I thought was the last piece of hotdog up this morning. I'm scared of a slippage. I read that it could be inflammation from the hot dog being stuck so long and to drink only liquids for a day. Any input please!!

    Don't know what to do

Hello all, I was banded in march 2005. I started at 285 lbs. I lost 40 lbs that year. The year after that I got down to 204 lbs. This year I made it back to 244 lbs. I am about 235 lbs...no matter what I do I can't stay on a diet, and I hate to exercise. I am lonely, and hold myself back from meeting any men, due to being so big. I just don't know what to do, I am so unhappy with myself, and I wish I could quit eating, and cant. Any suggestions? thanks:confused:

    Calling all Monterrey MX bansters

if you like the movies. There is a beautiful mall. I don't know what its called but there is a big Liverpool store there. They have VIP movie theaters, and its awesome! leather lazy boy chairs, and waiters, and it was only like $9. I don't know about where you all live, but where i'm from we dont have theaters like that. I saw one movie before surgery, one after, and one when I went back for my fill. The movies are in english. Monterrey is very nice. It's where all the rich mexicans live.

    February 05 Bandsters? Hello

I was banded last year Fed. 24th. I am down almost 60 lbs. I was stuck at 40 for quite some time, but doing weight watchers has really helped me. I hope to be at - 70 lbs by Feb. 24th this year.

    taxes

I'm getting all my tax things ready waiting on one last W2. Just another question, can I claim my friend's airfare that came along with me to Mexico that I paid for. I didn't think so, but just checking to be sure! Thanks

    old navy clothing sizes?

I buy old navy clothing all the time. It depends on what you buy. They run pretty close to normal plus size clothing. I have a sweater in a 1x, and it's too big, but a vest in a 2x thats too small.
