I'd just try the standard other stuff (aspirin, Aleve, Advil, etc) and see if it helps.

Aleve and Advil are NSAIDS so you definitely don't want to take those and aspirin is a blood thinner so typically that is contraindicated after surgery for pain relief. Typically, the reason NSAIDs are discouraged is because they can slow wound healing. If Tylenol is not helping, your over the counter options are really limited unfortunately. Not sure when your surgery was, are you fresh post op? Did they not give you a pain med at discharge?

tramadol is a prescription pain med. but not a narcotic. I am allergic to aspirin so this med really helps when I have a headache.
