Back in jan / dec I started a post "the new me in 14" and wanted to let everyone how much my life has changed since having surgery. These past couple of weekends have been terrific, went to six flags and rode roller coasters with fear that I wouldn't fit in the seat or that the straps wouldn't hold me, went to a May-fest and enjoyed walking around all day enjoyed paddle-boating with the kids and the best part was not spending a fortune on food, had a shrimp kabob and was good for the afternoon. I have so much more engery, I really have been blesses and enjoying this new journey.
I wish everyone has the same success and happiness with thier journey as well.

Today was my 3 month follow up with dr, and the first time I been on the scale since March, I weighted in at 203.5 lbs, can't believe how well things are going, the last time I felt this good was during HIgh school football.

I do the Dannon light n fit 80 cal Greek yogurt, my favorite flavors are mocha Cappuccino, raspberry chocolate and strawberry cheesecake.

Today was my 3 month follow up with dr, and the first time I been on the scale since March, I weighted in at 203.5 lbs, can't believe how well things are going, the last time I felt this good was during HIgh school football.

Best feeling, needing smaller underwear going, from an xl (40-42) into a L (36-38). Never thought I would be so excited to go underwear shopping also never realized how expensive they are.

Used to love going to the local pub on fri / sat night for live music, having a few drinks and tons of bar food, in fact we still go, just minus the drinks and food, on those days I workout little longer in the gym, do some extra house /yard work so that when I'm tempted I feel guilty cheating, the bartender is great too, I always used to drink gin and tonics in large pint glass now it's pints of Water with line wedges, I still have a good time and I make sure all my friends get home safe, so it's win, last week I actually tried a small glass of gin and tonic took me like 45 mins to drink and I was fine with just the one.
My only regret was waiting so long to get sleeved.

Just wanted to pass on some info I learned the other night eating out at Red Robin.
The kids were dying to go there the other night and prior to going I looked on line for low carb options and I found out that you can get any of thier burgers or sandwiches on a lettuce bun and side salad instead of fries, I ordered the California chicken sand and was surprised at how good this was, it was served between to thick, crispy pieces of iceberg lettuce and wrapped in paper which made it easy to eat, I ate about 1/3rd and took the rest home and the next day my wife and I split the rest for lunch and it was just as good the next day.
