    Good for him:) This just goes to show he is learning early to hopefully not make same mistakes most of us have. Other then wine i drink once a blue moon. I only drink Water and truly believe it helps with my weight loss.

    Congrats on your progress. As of right now i am down 93 lbs from nov 19,2013. I am hoping to hit my 100 lb weight loss soon

    Thank you! My starting weight was 328 however my highest weight was 340. Day of surgery I was 308 and today I'm 190. I'm hoping for another 30lbs. Sounds like you are doing fabulous! Keep it goin!!!

    I am in need of advice of what I can do to help my hair to start regrowing and stop falling out it has gotten to the point that I have a little bald spot on the top of my head. I always had very thick hair and now it is then and now it's very thin

    According to my nutritionist, Hair loss could be due to lack of Protein in the diet. Since you're so far out, maybe you could reintroduce some Protein Shakes (if you don't already take them.) Also, like everyone else suggested, I heard Biotin or even prenatal Vitamins are great for your hair! Good luck!

    I am almost 6 months post. I've always had a lot of hair and always complained about it, but at month 5 I started to worry when my hair started falling out. Anyway, my hair dresser recommended "hair infinity" Vitamin and "it's a 10" hair products. I started using both two weeks ago and my hair has stopped falling. I hope this can help someone struggling with the same problem.

    My hair started falling out as soon as I hit 3 months. I knew it would happen but the reality of it is scary and depressing. I used to have such thick hair and now it is so thin, I have another 6 months of this at least but I'm afraid I don't have enough hair to see me through that long. I've upped my Protein and B=12 and I'm taking Biotin. I know that won't help with the Hair loss but it should promote regrowth. Just hope the regrowth is as fast as the fall out.

    Hello my WONDERFUL November 2013 sleevers! I haven't checked in, in over 3 months. I hope you all are doing well and super healthy. Well, where is everyone at mentally, physically, and weight? I feel great, normal too. I sometime have low energy but it could be just lazy. I really need to get back in the gym too (confession: only have done about 2 hours of cardio/weight lifting TOTAL). Eating habits are still good for fear of gaining any weight but I AM A SLOW LOSER.... Here are my stats...
    HW 295 lbs/size 24
    VSG Day 277 lbs/size 22
    currently at 223lbs/size 16reg (size 14 not breathing) total loss 72 lbs
    hair loss: just a little and no longer losing.
    Gals, be firm with me tell me how I need to exercise more and I didn't get this far to start slowing down before my goal.

    Thanks for the kind words everyone. :-) It means a lot to me and is very encouraging because this last leg of the weight loss is TOUGH! lol....
    For those who have asked, I try to stick as much as possible to my numbers..... it's pretty simple.... no more than 40g of carbs, at least 65g of Protein, and at least 10 8-oz glasses of Water each day. Also, I track every single thing I eat or drink in MFP. That has really kept me accountable and taught me a lot about nutrition.
    I've also learned a lot about myself. For example, I know that some sleevers are able to have a little treat here and there and keep it under control. I learned that I am NOT one of those people. food for me is a complete addiction and if I give myself an inch I WILL take a mile. So for that reason, I avoid my trigger foods like the plague (fried foods, chocolate, chips, pizza, pretzels, etc). It is just something that I have accepted.
    As far as exercise, I run a lot. I'm training for a 1/2 marathon now so I run about 4 times a week. Then I will fill in a day here or there with a class (zumba, spinning, etc) or some time on the elliptical. Pretty straightforward. I would like to start some strength training once I hit goal to start and tone up my arms and legs a little bit.

    You look amazing may i ask what is your routine? Exercises,gym drinks?
