March 17th also, only issue I have with eating is my pouch is finicky. Sometimes I can eat 1/4 cup other times 3 or 4 bites. I'm down 31lbs from surgery date.

hang in there SarahI had horrible restless legs last night. I ended up napping on the bathroom floor with the fan and heater in as well as the blow dryer pointed ar my legs. That was horrible! The main thing that I am not liking this week is that I get the foamies every time I try to eat my soft foods and sometimes with just liquids. I am not able to get all of my Water and Protein in this week. Hopefully things will get better soon, if not I have a followup appt on Thursday and can address it then. On a good note, I am down 28lbs from my high weight, 24.5 since surgery in march 24th.

welcome to the group! Sorry you had a bad experience. I'm also 4 weeks out, and in a slight stall as well. My nut told us to expect it and to just keep following the plan and it will end. I mainly eat stage 2 baby food, Soups and broths. Also fish,.if I eat chicken I also use broth to make it easier to go down (canned chicken). I've also made noodle free spaghetti using ground turkey and sugar free sauce. High Protein and tastee. Good luck.I am 4 weeks out and last night had worst experience with roteissere chicken, .. it was horrible felt bad for about an hour, sweats and chills and severe nausea. I have to slow down when I eat. I have been on soft foods since my 2 week post op visit. I am struggling getting protien in.. I lost 18.5 at post op visit but have only lost 4 since then. I guess I am on a stall..... frustrated. Any one have any suggestions for soft food

My doc has me on protonix, and I've had no issue with gas or heartburn.

All I know is that I dislike being in the bathroom with myself!! Can't wait until things "calms down" sheesh! Not enough air freshners or matches in the house. Sometimes I wish I couldn't go ! :-(

I'm on the hunt . Not much prey around these days.Men are natural hunters, I think you should focus on going to new places now that your confidence is higher, allow yourself to be seen and let nature do the rest, the least amount of time you think about finding the love, the better your chances are at finding that special person. Just focus on being radiant and having fun.

I think you were misinformed. Only thing I was told was to avoid the skin of fruit while in the purée stage. You should speak with your nutritionist.

I would appreciate a Copy also...tkrisel@msn.com.

hi! Welcome to the group. I. Would suggest you speak with your Dr. Or nutritionist about the fruit, seems everyone has a different program to follow. And don't worry about the weight, if you follow your instructions you will lose....good luckHi everyone, I had my sleeve done march 24th 2014. I'm craving fresh fruit is it bad for me to eat? My first week post op I lost 11 pounds and nothing in my second week. I'm worried that's all I'm gonna loose!!!

I'm losing slow and steady, averaging a pound a day, no complaints here. Energy level still up and down but no worries still getting my walks in. Water seems to be a struggle with all of us but I'm sure it will get better. Most days I get my Protein in but hitting purée food next week so I'm sure my amount will drop. Keep up the good work my fellow Marchies

. Happy Birthday!!The slower you lose the less excess skin! That's good right! I have always been a faster loser with any program or diet I have done. I think it's partly because of my age.. I'll be 24 tomorrow. But you really need to get that Water in to flush out the ketones. For those of you who have that nasty flippen taste in your mouth, tastes like metallic or an aluminum can... I have found the more water I drink to flush out those ketones the better it is. I'm not cleared to go back to the gym yet but I have a black lab who keeps me busy on the leash and I've been parking far away and taking the stairs every chance I get.

Monday will be 4 weeks, finally move to purée. That doesn't sound like fun, glad you survived. Not looking forward to that but at least you know it works and to be more careful in the future.

and think about it, this is only the beginningI hit the 50lb mark today! It's been two years since I started on my fitness pal, and I've lost 50lbs in that time. 35 of that is since I started my preop diet. I have no idea the last time I was this weight but it feels pretty great.

Good to see all the "Marchies" doing so well. I'm 2 weeks out still on full liquids. I normally get my Protein in by having 2 shakes a day along with adding unflavored powder to almost everything. Still upping my Water even with the shakes I don't go #1 much so I know my water intake is lacking. Sip,sip,sip,..walk walk walk.

seems like normal..lolThey are running behind!!! The waiting is killing me! I saw everyone already just waiting for the OR room
