Pre-banding: Any thing that was not too stale or green and fuzzy!!! Post-band: I LOVE GUALMOLE (spelling?).....actually any Mexican food....this tastes that best to me now!!!

Wow, thanks everyone....I sure feel better this birthday than I did my last birthday!!!

Just found out that the company my husband works for is changing health insurance companies AGAIN.....going from Humana to United Healthcare. How is this going to effect the coverage on my fills?

You all are wonderful support and I can't thank you enough. It has just seemed so "easy" so far and now I am feeling some of my "old" thoughts about food coming back. It kind of scares me. But, your support and suggestions are so very much appreciated. You guys rock!! And I will try to remember "one day at a time" and that this is not an overnight journey....

I feel like I could use some "old-fashioned", kick me in the a@* support!!! I did so well over the holidays....stayed focused, ate right, etc.....now I feel a tad out of control. Mostly not as focused....know what I mean???!! I know I want to eat "comfort" foods lately....probably due to things like: it's that time of the month, it was a full moon on Saturday, and on Friday the 13th my husband had a car accident (he is O.K., thank the Lord!) in our 7 day old car!!! Typically I would have eaten half of New York City by this time, but I have not done that....but, the thoughts are creeping into my head. I just want to nip it in the bud......send me good vibes, support, prayers, etc.......I feel like this is my first "head hunger" challenge since being banded......and "head hunger" has always been my evil enemy!!!

Last night at my support meeting I found out that one of "lap sisters" had labs done at 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. I am nearly 5 months out and have been in for fills, but no one at my doctor's office mentioned or scheduled any lab work for me. Did you all have post-op lab work done?

I would go back on liquids and call your doctor in the morning....good luck.

I have one more NSV to report today.....I can no longer wear my wedding rings and my anniverary rings....TOO BIG!!! I am afraid they will fall off so into the drawer they will go until I am ready to have them re-sized. Hey, I just had a thought.....maybe this means I can go out and buy an "in between" wedding ring to wear while I am losing???!!!:confused:

Stopped in at a Lane Bryant store today.....found a clearance item and when I went to the cash register the clerk asked me if I would be using my Lane Bryant credit card. I told her I had a card a long time ago, but have not used it in years. She politely asked me why....I told her that I just recently lost 60 pounds and can now fit in their clothes again!!! She said, "wow, I wish I could lose 60 pounds". When I left she congraduated me again.....great SNV today.....Now the next great SNV with Lane Bryant will be the day nothing fits again....BUT, this time 'cause everything is TOO BIG!!!

Just wanted to pass along some great customer service news....I ordered something from QVC and the package came empty except for the packing slip. I called QVC to tell them figuring I was screwed. But, NO, they are sending the item again and by UPS so I get it sooner:eek: . I am impressed.....spread the word...customer service is lacking so much in today's world it is refreshing to come across great service!

This thread is so ironic since just yesterday I mentioned to someone that I have not had cereal since I was banded....I like it too much and it does not keep me full so I stay away from it. But, I wish you the best of luck....let us know how it goes!

Hello August Bandsters.... Wow, I can remember when we all posted our surgery dates and waited with excitement....now we are just over 5 months out!!!! We are old pros now!!! I love my band, my new lifestyle and all the SV's and NSV's that have come along. Here's wishing all bandsters the best and big loses this year:clap2:

OMG, I can't believe it......I crossed my legs tonight....it just happened! I was not thinking about it or trying....it just HAPPENED!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
