Yes! It really helps that they had a buffet and there were so many good choices, bad ones available too lol! But there is no excuse not to get a good meal, just watch portion sizes. Have a great time on your trip!

Tomorrow I will be back home. Had a great time, watched what I ate and walked more than I ever thought possible. We took stairs instead of elevator when possible. I can't wait to sync my Fitbit and weigh in. Will post an uupdate tomorrow or Sunday

  8. Looking forward to a new week. Last week had some episodes of eating too fast or too much at a time and getting that "stuck" feeling. Guess everyone has to learn sometime...

Thanks, yes it is a learning curve for sure. But I'm glad to have all of you who understand :)

  9. I measured out a teaspoon of smooth natural nothing added pb and savored every lick! I'm less than 2 weeks post op. It tasted fantastic. It's a soft food right?

try some almond butter, I gave up peanut butter a few months ago and switched to almond butter instead. I only buy the all natural no stir from MaraNatha and I keep it to about 1 tsp. Fat from almonds is healthier than peanuts

  10. Today is my grandmother's 100th Birthday, do I celebrate with everyone and have a bite of cake and ice cream or take my frozen yogurt bar to have instead?

I was a good girl. I had my bottle of water and I brought some chocolate frozen ice type dessert that was dairy/gluten/sugar free and had protein. :)

  12. Been reading some posts and never a profile (ok rarely) I think it should be a requirement to fill out some kind of profile to even be here...not saying you have to put it "all out there" or post pics like some want to...but some information should be necessary...maybe that would weed out some of the bad apples...just my thought of the day!

I am a newbie here and I totally agree with you! Been working on updating my profile, a little at a time.
