    Achilles injury

I had ruptured my Achilles twice in 15 years. Lots of pain before surgery. Did not believe I would ever walk pain free much less jog. I don't have any pain almost 2 years out from my surgery and am jogging 25 miles a week. Took about 3 months before I started to notice pain going away and built strength back in my ankle. Been jogging for 18 months, started by walking. Good luck

    BigDaddy look to be NotSoBigDaddy

I know the big guy thing. I was a head football coach that is 6'4" and weighed 330. Everyone thought I was crazy for having surgery. They were used to the Big Guy. Now I am 205 after 7 months and I am truly excited to leave the old Big Guy behind. I work out 6 days a week and watch what I eat. But being as tall as I am I do get to be the big guy still. It is different though. People don't clear out of your way when they see you coming anymore. You do miss the social aspect of food when with the other big guys, but if they are friends they actually help you out. It has been a great decision on my part and wish the most success on your journey.

  5. I was sleeved 10/6/14. As of this morning I have lost 113 lbs. started at 322 the week before surgery to 209 this morning. It is work. Get up 6 of 7 days of the week at 4am to get cardio in. To celebrate family went Las Vegas for Spring Break. Actually lost a lbs over the week. I was not especially good on the diet either. Just had to have red bull and vodka while playing at craps table. Wow, first time drinking after surgery. Hits quick but I think red bull had more effect then vodka it seemed like. Anyway, just had to post the 6 month success.
