  1. I also have a desk job. I had my surgery on a Tuesday and was back at work the following Monday. No problem. At my job I am able to eat and drink at my desk and take a few minutes away if needed. So it worked for me. I couldn't afford to take any more time off than that.
  2. Yes! I can eat pizza without any trouble. Only thing is I now have one small slice where I used to have three or four large ones.
  3. I take 1 prenatal vitamin and 1 calcium supplement a day. My labs results are all normal. I wouldn't be able to handle taking a bunch of pills a day.
  4. Yes cup size is the difference between around your rib cage under your chest and the largest part of your chest. So a 36C is much smaller than a 44C.
  5. To me this was not nearly as bad as my c-section. Didn't need hardly any pain meds.
  6. Yes. "Lightweights" lose slower as they have less to lose. I am also a slow loser. But better a slow loser than not a loser.
  7. Miss Bean, how did you find your skin removal surgery? I am contemplating having it done also by possibly the same doctor. I hear he does amazing work and great minimal scarring.
  8. Are you actually physically hungry? Or is it head hunger?
  9. I am 6 months post op gastric bypass. In my experience with my clinic I have lost 80% of my excess weight so far. I plan on losing the rest of it also. A lot of people do lose more than the average. That's why it's an average. It depends in you and your commitment and dedication.
  10. This pretty much sums up my experience also.
  11. A good idea. But personally I won't date someone who doesn't live locally. So I'm pretty sure it would be a waste of effort.
  12. I have always been a fast eater and I still am.
  13. I also have the aria. Love it. Wirelessly syncs and tracks your weight on the fitbit app.
  14. Also the excessive sweating gets better as your weight goes down. Mine is pretty much gone.
  15. I six months post op and my hair loss is finally back to normal. I had super thick hair before and now it is just right. I'm hoping it doesn't grow back all the hair. Lol
  16. Love and prayers for you and your family.
  17. I'm six months post op. Head hunger is still a big issue for me. Of course after surgery it wasn't for a few months but now that I can eat fairly normally it's back with a vengeance. I have to be very vigilant to keep an eye on it.
  18. Yea for you! Sounds like you are determined. So sounds like you have great supportive partner. Maybe we could clone him? Lol
  19. I was leaning toward the sleeve and decided for bypass also because of gerd. Don't regret any of it.
  20. I took it about 17 years ago. Worked amazingly. But then I got pregnant again and divorced and I gained back a huge amount. Finally had surgery this January. No more ups and downs for me.
  21. Exciting. You will do great!
  22. Love all the info. Thanks people!
  23. Yes about a week post op I was sick as a dog. Realized it was from milk products. It has gotten better over the past few months. I can now have yogurt and cheese. Milk and ice cream still make me sick though. Lactaid tablets help.
