5th day on my liquid diet and I messed up and had mash potatoes .... should I cancel my surgery?? and rescedual?

you're fine. Just try to stick to the diet. You aren't the first to do that and you certainly won't be the last.

Relax it will be fine.
Just jump back on your pre-op program and you'll be okay.
Don't cancel because of one error.
