My sister had Gastric done in November and has lost 80 lbs. So I get her "downsized skinny clothes" YIKES, I said skinny clothes!!!

I am so excited!! I have 10 days left before my surgery. I want so bad to clean out my closet, but I am afraid still. I haven't slept well, and I am experiencing the craziest dreams, about being skinny. Did anyone experience these dreams? I have posted my pic

I can't wait to stop pulling at the front of my shirt I can't wait to be able to sit on a chair that's not hiding behind something like a desk I can't wait to go swimming again

My surgery date is May 23rd!!

I'm not sure...great news I got approved today

I am approved, and thrilled! My surgery is scheduled for May 23rd, they wanted to do it June 6, but I asked if they can accomodate me earlier due to my daughter graduating high school on June 11! I hope I am well for her graduation. I going home to clean out my closet!!!

My best friend got her surgery date today it scheduled for June 1st !! We have really good insurance, big believers in this surgery. I'm so excited for her she is having Gastric, and not lap band. Weird thing we have different Dr's however they both submitted same day, this is fate I hope.

I'm so nervous my dr's offie submitted my insurance today. I will not be able to sleep now until I here.

I too was at the meeting. I thought is as great. How long did it take to get your approval?

No I am not approved yet, my sister was approved through our insurance supposedly it's great for covering WLS, I pay my co=pays for right now $15, and if I don't get approved.....1st I will scream, then I will try to get a loan.

WHOA, WHOA, I had my nutrional appointment today, I'm almost there. Had my Physc. evaluation last week...hopefully isurance will be submitted next week or the following. Did anyone else have an upper GI prior to insurance being submitted or after insurance submits?

This is a great website! Everyone is very supportive and welcoming! I hope to read more about all of your experiences, and hope to share mine! I have gotten so much useful information form this site. I didn't realize how many people have actually had this surgery done, cheez I thought I was amongst the first. It's quite satisfying to read how successful you have been with this. I dream about my surgery every night, and I am finding it hard to concentrate on anything but "lapband". IM SO EXCITED I CANT WAIT!!
