  3. I use the silk vanilla and mix it with the shakes, it's good and it doesn't send me! That's kinda getting in more protein, because the milk is protein based! Good luck
  4. Ok, I was sleeved on the 7th, and I mix my protein with the almond milk, vanilla! I let them freeze just a lil bit and they are so good! Try that, also to switch up the broth, I ordered the clear broth from the Chinese restaurant! That was yummy as well! I hope gets better for you! I am very gassy, so I understand, I just let it out and keep going! Everyday is getting better, I plan on driving tomorrow, due to going to handle some business!

  7. Good morning you wonderful people! I had my surgery May 7, and I want to know did anyone experience the runs after returning home? I know it's tmi, but I haven't stopped going since I came home! Is anyone else going through this?
  8. The support is definitely needed, I had my surgery on May 7, and this forum got me through! It taught me about patience, understanding, what to expect, and this is day 2, and everything I have read up on has really helped me! You can private message me, if you have any questions!
  9. You are not alone, I went through the same thing! I was approved without the pulmonary dr clearance, but it did hold my process! Be patient it will all work out! I was just sleeved this past Wednesday! I was so frustrated as well, but make sure you use the cpap machine, and the time will go by fast!
  10. So while I was in the hospital, a Walgreens rep visited me, and get this filled my prescription and bought it back to my room! I got the liquid pain reliever, and also a liquid vitamin that's compounded with everything! I thought that was cool! You can inquire to see if your hospital does that!

  12. I don't feel nauseated, my tummy feel heavy with fluids!
  13. I stayed over night, I came home yesterday! I have to force myself to sip! I'm sipping broth, I ate jello, and crystal light! I start tomorrow on shakes...my tummy feel real heavy! I guess it's the fluids from the I'V!
  14. My surgery was May 7, it's not bad, you just have to take it slow! I don't have an appetite though!

  16. Well May 7, has come and gone! My surgery was a success..I'm home recovering and can tell I'm not connected to the I'V with the Tylenol and the morphine pump! I haven't been hungry, I'm full of fluids! I had to sleep on my couch, my bed was not comfy! How is everyone else doing?
  17. I'm freshly sleeved May 7, I used gas x strips for gas! They dissolve on your tongue!
  18. Well good morning, I'm laying in the hospital now, just had my surgery yesterday! It went well, just make sure you have chapstick and gas x strips! They keep you drugged up, and follow your diet and you will be fine, oh and make sure your head right!

  22. My surgery is May 7, and I did not have to do a diet, just high protein...so I clean out my system for 2 days! I had a lot of farewells to my favorite foods today! May 7th is the day..
