May 6th was a life change for me...
Hang in there yall. We all had the surgery for a reason or more. Please keep that/those thing(s) in the forefront of your mind. We must learn to retrain our thoughts, actions and desires. We now eat to live instead of living to eat. The sleeve is our tool, friend, constant pal to help us achieve the things we had trouble doing. For me, it was overeating that I needed help with. Although I am only 2 weeks and 1day out, I have changed my focus from food being the center of my life. I have gone out to Breakfast just to spend time with my partner and it did not bother me because the focus was on sharing time and not the food. I know tgat evemtually I will be able to eat again but my tool will be able to help me not overeat if I use it. I am sorry that the lady at the party was so insensitive with her statement but in my case that statement may have had some truth and thus the reason I got the sleeve was to help stop me from overeating and getting help conntroling the amount I could wolf down. Please be careful in the choices you make when you decide to cheat and limit those things as much as possible. My go to cheat has been cheeses nips because they pretty much liquidfy. It was not something I am proud of and I know that if I made that a daily go to, eventually that high carb junk food will get out of hand. My biggest fear is going throigh all of this and ending up gaining all my weight back or not meeting any of my goals. I won't be able to blame anyone but myself because I dod not use the gift I gave myself...my sleeve.

surgery tomorrow, 1 main concern
Relax!!! Don't worry about something you can't change by tomirrow. Trust that you have done your part and things will work out either way. If it does not happen tomorrow, there maybe a good reason. If you can't shake this worry, call your surgeon's office, they may be able to helo ease your worry.

Any April Sleevers?
I've been able to do it.... me and my Water bottle are attached at the hip! . This great to hear. I think I just can't get past the lack of thirst or huger that I'm used to telling me to drink or eat. I keep a bottle close by I just don't want it. All that I've got in has been because I forced it and I'm still not nearly there may be 32 oz tops. But on a good note I can drink Protein shakes if I think about which I know people are having trouble with. I'm no quitter I'm gonna keep trying. Thx for giving me hope that it can in fact be done. Do you know that counts towards your 64oz? Well at least that is what my doc says.

Where's the April sleevers....
Awww that is great that you have a supportive husband. I am sure you may have warned him about the mood swings and his love for you is more than that little breakdown you had.

getting back to gym
I am afraid (God has not given me that spirit!111) a trainer will push me too hard. I just can't see myself being tortured like some of the trainers I see on tv like on the Biggest Looser.
