December 2013 Sleever Pounds Lost Log
Hi I think I need to do that. I started at 249 and I want to lose 120lbs making me 129lbs. Idk if that's maintainable but I'm gonna try. I was a revision band to sleeve on dec 30th. On that day I was 222lbs last weigh in I was 203.

My sleeve Day 1
I still get hungry when it's time to eat which at first made me upset cause I don't wanna be hungry. But then the tiniest amount of protein takes that away immediately so hungry or not, I can live with that.

My sleeve Day 1
I feel awesome. No problems really. I'm eating well just smaller amounts so it's exactly what I wanted

Surgery Tomorrow
I knew myself enough to know that everything I've ever tried didn't work for me. I was so tired of starting a brand new diet on Monday. Every Monday it seemed. I wanted it so bad so I didn't even think for a second that I wanted to back out. I decided I was going to get better so I could be the person I knew I was on the inside. My girls need me around and if I kept going, I would not be there for them. I didn't allow negative thought about what could happen during surgery. An early death from diabetes was going to be my future if I didn't take this opportunity. Only thing I questioned was which surgery to do. No negative thoughts allowed but it is perfectly normal to fear the unknown. Good luck with whatever u decide.

What vitamins are u taking ?
I take two prenatal gummies, 2 Carmel flavored calcium chews, extra d3, 2 biotin 5000 melts, and centrum silver chewable. Oh and Prevacid

Dehydrated
Oh my gosh I'm sending positive thoughts your way. I'm guessing the pancreatitis has nothing to do with the sleeve? Yes definitely get some G2 or what I drink is power aid zero everyday. I also keep it by the bed at night. Never had a problem with dehydration and I'm able to drink full swallows without sipping at four weeks out. Get ur fluids and antibiotics in and u should be good as new in no time. Thinking of u thru the hard times.

My sleeve Day 1
I did fry the cat fish but pat it pretty good. I normally never dry anything at all though so I don't know if that's what made me sick. But we don't dump with the sleeve so I'd be surprised really. For the time being I'm going to stay away. Won't be hard cause I don't like seafood anyway lol like it even less now lol

I love water and i cant stop drinking it
Hi! I was sleeved on dec 30th too. I just wanted to say I think u are doing fantastic!! I can't guzzle water but I can take a mouthful and swallow then again and again. Hit liquid goes down better for me. I'm not getting my full 80 g in protein though. I'm working on that. I've only gotten sick on catfish (1.5 oz) and egg salad. It sounds like u are doing everything right. Post often I'm interested in those that share my sleeve bday! Lol

My sleeve Day 1
thank you Charlie it was goes with it but I'm certain we are all gonna get there sooner or later. Today I washed my truck, did the grocery shopping, planned out some meals, went thru my closet and tried on pants. Found a few that are too big now so I'm feeling better. Thank u for the kind words. It'll be here before u know it! I look forward to reading your journey.

My sleeve Day 1
27 days post op 204 lbs Not much to post about lately cause I've been stalled now for a week. I hit the dreaded three week stall at 18 days out. Im going to have to get back to my Protein requirements because I've noticed since I started eating normal food I'm barely getting anything in. Last night hubby wanted sea food which I'm not a huge fan of but I like catfish and figured that would be a great source of protein. I made catfish, shrimp, fried okra, and red Beans and rice. I put a carefully measured three ounces of catfish on my plate and a tablespoon of tartar sauce. That was two fillets... I managed to eat one. So my dinner was 1.5 oz of fish. I should have stopped at one ounce I guess cause it sat there and sat there and I ended up getting sick live and learn I guess. As much as I'm sick of Protein Shakes I better just do it.

My sleeve Day 1
it didn't for me but u may have a more sensitive tummy with spicy stuff. Everyone is different but hopefully it will be good. Tasted like heaven after all the liquids lol The red beef u may need to wait on but mine said for mushies the meat had to be super tender. With the roast the soupy part is sinful even without the meat
