Day two of pre op liquid diet! BAM! Day Three, I am ready for you!

Officially hit my 1/2 way mark!!! Woot, Woot!!! 73 pounds down and 73 pounds to go!

Dr.s office called and rescheduled my 6 month check up. it is about 3 weeks earlier than I expected. I really wanted to be under 200 by then. With my weight loss slowing down, I may not make it. But on the bright side...I haven't been this light for years! It will be great to lose through the holidays for the first time EVER!!

Well it is nearly 2015. I have to say, I am glad to see how much more I can do this coming year! We leave for the KLOVE Cruise in January, and we are going to go snorkeling, hiking, etc. I can't wait. I am down 98lbs. What a wonderful decision to have bypass. I made it fellow bypassers! Was a bit of a rough ride, be surgeon was able remove band and do bypass in one surgery. My scar tissue did make for a tougher surgery. Had on bad spell w/lack of gas passing. But seem to me the nausea is worse than pain. they kept it down at the hospital, have to deal w/it more here at home. I am free at last! Thanks for all your prayers, kind thoughts and encouragement.

Surgery Date finally! May 13th!
