  1. For the first 3 1/2 weeks id be up all night and sleep into the afternoon I hate it so much. Good thing I was on med leave from work.
  2. I know it's hard I'm 2 months post op and I've lost 72lbs. I recently started eating more my intake is higher then a half a cup and it scares me. Remember your protein water stay away from sweets minimize carbs. I've learned to cut back and change my foods. I plan I'm starting a workout maybe Zumba I want to do insanity but I doubt my body could handle it. I suggest you see your doctor or email your nutritionist. I email mine all the time lol. Any questions message me. If I were you I wouldn't do that yogurt diet you did this surgery to help you not so you could live on a diet. Good luck.
  3. I didn't see it I wanted to ask and I completely forgot. =( my mother whom was in the waiting room got to see it she said it was a jar with my stomach the doctor showed it to her she should've took a pic but didn't know I wanted to see it.
  4. I'm down 72 and I could see my back so much more smoother such I love. I wish my tights were the same =\
  5. I can't see it as much but I do feel it on my clothes. I'm just having trouble losing it on my thighs there huge =(. Any tips? People do tell me they see my weight loss though =) Pre op 276 Surgery date 265 Post op 205. Left is a month ago and right is current.
  6. That's awesome congrats!!! I'm 8 weeks out also and I've lost 72lbs. I feel it on my clothes, I see it but not as much as I'd like. I'm really happy though I'm at 203lbs right now. I'm going to yell when I get to to 199 lol. How much are you eating now? I feel that I'm able to eat more now. I had shrimp cocktail for lunch (I know not the best choice) I was able to eat like 8 shrimps. I'm paranoid about stretching my sleeve. So I'm curious if I'm over eating of course I don't eat no where near where I did pre op. I don't eat past 30min. Keep up the great work =)
  7. You look great think if your happy at your weight stop. Your stomach isn't bad looking.
  8. Yes I'll be 8 weeks post op on Sat and I've started to crave veggies so weird none of the old junk food seems appetizing which makes me happy.
  9. Yes specially since I'm scared to try new things. Thank you. Good luck to you also.
  10. Very true the smell of fast food fries nauseates me when pre op I didn't have a problem.
  11. That sounds so good I like yellow zucchini and squash. I've never had it with mushrooms though. I ended up making the mushrooms and my sleeve was ok with them so I'm very happy =)
  12. Thank you for the info =). So I made the mushrooms. I only had very little since I get full fast and they were delicious my sleeve loved them. I'm so happy that I found something else I could eat.
  13. Shel, yay I'm going to try a salad this weekend when I'm not at work just to be safe. Pre op I used to make a pretty good darn salad so I hope my sleeve is ok with it. I've yet had something my sleeve doesn't like well chicken feels to heavy unless it's shredded (weird huh). You put bacon on your salad and Felipe was ok with it? love hearing that lol. I wanted a crunchy snack also I bought some veggie chips……I had two they were delicious and my crunchy craving felt satisfied with two wow. I'll be 8 weeks out Saturday so were the same. How are you with you doing protein drink intake?
  14. How soon did some of you start eating salads? Also how soon did y'all start eating mushrooms? I've been craving sautéed mushrooms and I want to make some for dinner. I wish I had a list of foods that are ok to eat. I know what to stay away from health wise, I'm scared to eat something that is going to hurt my sleeve. I'm glad I have all of you to answer my questions though =)
  15. Pre op I was a huge White Russian fan. Hopefully one day when I'm further out I'll be able to have one.
  16. Lucky! Knock on wood I've yet to eat something that has upsets my sleeve. I'm still scared though mostly of the nori though. They sell skinny rolls w/o rice which later that's what I'll be ordering.
  17. It does sound amazing but the nori is what scares me.
  18. That's good to hear that edamame's are ok because I bought some frozen ones at SAMS since pre op I had them all the time, I have not had any post op. Definitely eating some tomorrow.
  19. I'm happy I could eat some sashimi, sashimi and avocado on the side I will be happy.
  20. Thank you very much I will stick with the sashimi =)
  21. I'm a huge sushi, sashimi, and hand roll lover that's my favorite food. Since getting the gastric sleeve I have not had it. When I turned 5 weeks I had tuna tataki I made sure it was fully cooked I was able to eat it just fine. This Saturday I will be 8 weeks out and I'm invited to a bday party at a sushi restaurant I know sushi is out the question because of the rice. Did any of you have hand rolls or sashimi at 8 weeks out? I would love a crab hand roll or a oyster hand roll sounds good too but I know it's too soon for that. Hope to hear from some sushi lovers!!!
  22. Pre op I used to like to drink once in a whole mainly when I went out. I'm 7 weeks out and have not had a drink I was told at 6 weeks I could have red wine. I still have not had any I'm waiting for a weekend that I'm at home with no plans I'm scared to how it's going to effect me. I'm not worried about alcoholism because I don't/never had alcohol every day or had a eating disorder. I must say I miss my wine and vodka specially after a stressful day at work a nice glass of wine would be great.
  23. 5'2 here sleeved on December 21,2013 Highest weight 276 Current weight 224
  24. Good job Felipe!!! I'm a big seafood lover so I know the feeling!!!
  25. My face is also clearing up and skin tone is evening. I'm 7 weeks out also. I have been getting 60 grams except a few days. Where protein nauseates me. I've been trying though.
