Hi everyone, My surgery date is 12/16/13 tentative. They will also do hiatal hernia repair. I'm waiting for insurance approval. This is my 1st time joining a group like this so I apologize if I do anything wrong. I go for medical clearance on 11/25/13 and blood work after that. Can anyone tell me how long they waited for insurance approval? I don't have to do any pre-op just cut down on my intake by 20% which seemed weird to me since everyone on these sites seemed to have to. My doctor is Dr. Trivedi of Hackensack, NJ. I am very excited about my surgery and can't wait to get rid of the pain. I weight 249lbs, have lost 8lbs since February and I'm 5' 4" tall.
