    Easter Challenge

150.0 today! Nothing like the stomach bug to help you reach your goals. I actually saw the 140's yesterday. I haven't seen them since before I had children.
  4. I have been very open about my surgery for many reasons but the main ones being that I hope to inspire others to do the surgery if they need it and I'm a terrible liar. I also get tons of support by being open about it. The people who were negative about the surgery in the beginning have changed their tune after seeing my success. In all honesty if you lose that much weight people are going to know you most likely did some type of surgery. By being honest I have squashed rumors caused by people trying to guess how and why the sudden weight loss.

    Rate of weight loss

I started out at 208lbs and am currently down 48lbs. I'm almost 4 months out. I didn't exercise regularly until month 3 and I don't always eat right either. I'm 29yrs old. I probably could have lost more weight but I'm in the average weight loss range.
  11. I would suggest getting in touch with a dietician that specializes in bariatrics to help you get back on track. Maybe even meeting once a month and weighing in with them would be helpful. I think it would make you accountable. I also found friends on my fitness pal that had surgery near the same time as me. It helps me feel accountable and gives me meal ideas and support.
