  3. I'm 5 weeks post op and am trying out different foods I can and can't have, so far I keep things down just fine but I am struggling with eating 6-800 calories , I usually get in around 450-500 and I am always full. I've tried snacking here and their (on healthy items) but I still can't get in more calories. Am i going to be ok and lose weight still? My sleeve is very tight! I also work out 4-5 times a week usually elliptical or treadmill and I'm down 25 pounds since preop . I was sleeved July 7 by Dr. Alvarez.
  4. One hard boiled egg mashed with a tsp of olive oil for breakfast then I made a homemade burger with crispy wonton wrappers as the bread and put a pickle and red inion for toppings. for dinner some roasted edamame that I roasted. Lots of water and some iced tea. I got in 500 calories and I walked two miles and worked like crazy (restaurant ahift leader)
  5. Thanks ken, those weren't showing up before
  6. I think u r taking in too much protein. Ur body can not process that much protein at one time. For a female u should only take on 15-20 grams of protein per meal or it won't get broken down right. I used to do the samething
  7. Me too sherry, I lost everything, anyone wanting to contact me I gues just PM me because I lost everything I subscribed to

  11. Hey dooter , thanks for the thoughts. Yeah he told me to take a PPI and said it may last another month but this should help me, I hope it does because other than that I think I'll be ok. I wouldn't take any with u because they give u all that through IV, so u should be ok. He told me its going to take time to get use to food so I'm gonna take it easy and stick to a lot of Protein drinks and softer foods. Hey I'm down 24 pounds since my preop diet, I guess that's not bad. Lol
  12. Thanks everybody for ur replies. I'm going to buy some OTC acid reducer. Hopefully it'll help me

I still get horrible reflux and I had strep throat and its still hurting me. Sometimes I get my water and sometimes I don't, I feel like I'm struggling and I wanna know when the hiccups will stop and the reflux is driving me crazy.
