  2. Has anyone experienced an extreme increase in anger & aggression? I am mad at the world & ready to fight at any minute, have horrible road rage and am so irritable & impatient! I'm a hot mess & it is ruining my life & relationship with my fiancé & friends! No one can stand me!!! This makes me regret my surgery so much, all I wanted to do was improve my health & life... && all I've done was ruin it, although I am almost 4 months post op & have lost 73lbs & feel great about myself more but it seems like I hate everything else idk... Please help... I have made an appt with a psychiatrist for next month but in the meantime I'm just a mess!
  3. After surgery my senses got stronger and I can smell a funk in chicken and eggs and some other meats..... So I am turned off to those foods even though I am 9weeks out I should be able to have them but that smell is such a turn off!
  4. Thank you ladies so much, i appreciate the encouraging words! I am trying my best to keep myself in control!
  5. After surgery I was surprised at the not being hungry feeling but by week 2 my cravings for food had got outrageous, it's all that's on my mind and when I eat I get sick because I have that hunger that makes me eat faster than I should. I can't really tolerate any meat or fish so I've been sticking to soups and Popsicles, occasionally I'll have a mashed carrot or sweet potato... I eat until I'm satisfied but then a hr later I'm hungry once again as if my stomach just wants more than what I've been eating. idk what to do anymore???? Anyone please help!!!!
  6. I have lost 22 lbs so far and I'm indecisive with my feelings, some days are better than others. It is an emotional roller coaster but everyday gets better! I'm on 2 and half weeks out so I got a long way to go, I'm learning about what beverages and foods I can and cannot tolerate... I know it gets better'
  7. It's not that bad but you would expect more from montifiore, dr choi was great for me, my surgery went went and my incisions are perfect, so that I would recommend dr choi
  8. I agree with the after care at the hospital was not good, I felt I wasn't in montifiore anymore once in the recovery room!
  9. I had to have an endoscopy to check for ulcers and damage caused by my heartburn, I had wanted Rny from the start and dr choi recommended it because of my bad heartburn... If I had gotten the sleeve I would of had to take omeprazole for life.... Hope that helps answer your questions.... Also a friend of mine had the sleeve and regrets not picking the Rny because of the slow weight loss I guess.... Good luck!
