  1. I had my surgery 4/23/14 and am up 12lbs from December 2014. Struggling with slipping into bad habits. I lost a total of 60lbs and need to lose about forty more
  2. I am 11 months out from surgery and went to visit family in December having a hard getting into a routine. Again. Prior I was working out not necessarily eating the best. I realized today I focus on taking care of everything and one else besides me. Today forward it is about me. Got back on spinning this morning. It is a struggle and my friend is going through those same struggles so know we are not alone and need to remember that we did this for us and our health. Go sleevers
  3. I am 8 months on the 23rd and feeling like you. Starting weight 256 now 195 but struggling to get any lower my dr said try the paleo diet but I really don't want to diet frustrated
  4. I was sleeved 4/23 from Seattle. SW 256 CW 196 I have been on a 3 mo stall. Started working out and dropping sizes not so much number on the scale. I love spinning and currently in size 12 and love it. I would like to get 46 more off. Really going to buckle down as I have been falling into really bad habits lately sugar is my thing. Trying to sugar detox starting today to get back on track. Protein here I come.
  5. You will lose it around three months and it was the hardest part of this journey. Being fat that was my best feature but now it is thin. I cut it and got a new style and everyone loves it. It's not the end of the world
  6. I am 7 mos on the 23rd and did pretty good lost 60 pounds but for the last 3 months I have strayed hard to get back on the path. Eating like I was prior to the surgery I can eat one day no problem and then the next day I can barely eat. My doctor said to go on the paleo diet but I tried and I couldn't stick with it. I think I need to do a sugar flush. Any suggestions and your not alone.

  8. It is thrush which is common because they pump you up if antibiotics. I got it too
  9. I was sleeved on 4/23 down from 256 to 212. 44lbs.
  10. My 3 year old loves mcdonalds and always wants to go if I go I have a pineapple mango smoothie take about 3 sips and give the rest to my son and have one chicken nugget that is all I can handle struggling to eat a hamburger anywhere
  11. Am struggling with eating quickly and get back to work. I have a high demanding job where I can usually space my bites out for breakfast but the rest of the day I struggle. I barely get time for lunch. Any thoughts or advice? HELP
  12. I like the hummus that are snack size with the pretzel thins you can find in the deli. I have been eating a lot of hb eggs but am getting bored with the same old food. I found high protein Quaker oats oatmeal which is good 10gms of protein.
  13. I think she is confused about what cosmetic surgery versus weight loss surgery. You don't need ignorant immature people in your life. Your life will change and you will get new supporting friends
  14. The attention is really hard to get used to. I have always struggled with compliments even when I was bigger

  16. Was sleeved on 4/23. Six weeks yesterday down 39 pounds. Not been very good with water, protein or carbs. My typical meal is pb and protein shake tuna and crackers or hb egg and trying to eat what I make my family but with caution. Snacks laughing cow cheese Any ideas. I love sf Popsicles which is my staple before bed.
  17. I was sleeved on 4/23 and I was down 32pounds and have not list since may 8th. Frustrated but I know it will happen. Only eating 500 calories. Commiserating with you all.
  18. I was sleeved on 4/23 too and starting to see a stall I lost 32lbs in 2 weeks and this week I gained a pound. Ugh!!!!
  19. I am 11 days post op and still struggling with water. I am down a total of 30lbs. I can barely get 24oz down.
  20. I am 6 days post op tried to go off pain meds on day 3. I noticed when I did that it was hard to get fluids in. I know I struggle with getting enough fluids in only about 20oz a day worried about dehydration Powerade, vitamin zero , jello, herbal tea and Popsicles. I am down 20 lbs. I still have has pains using gasx strips it helps. But I too get more pains when I am sleeping I am really sore and have been battling the phlegm in my throat. Praying I don't have pneumonia. This was a lot harder than I thought but I am finally feeling a little better
  21. Just got home from surgery. Definitely more today.
  22. Just sitting here all drugged up on oxycodone. Just did my walk around the nurses station feelin good. Eating my ice chips. Got weigh was up 4kgs due to fluid. Can't wait to see the results soon. No to bad of gas pain good night all
