6 Weeks Post Op and Stall

No, it's not that time yet. I'm doing at least 64oz of fluids a day. Not sure what the issue may be. Thanks! -
I had surgery Feb 18th. I started off at 278 and now 5 weeks later I'm 248. I didn't realize I was down this much until I made a pic collage. The first few weeks were very rough but I think this surgery choice was one of the best decisions I ever made. The pic on the left was before surgery and the one on the right was at 4 weeks post op. I can tell the difference in your face. My surgery was 5 weeks ago and looking in the mirror I couldn't tell but I compared my pics as well. The pic on the left was the day before surgery and the one on the right was a few days ago. Congrats to you by the way! -

I had mine on the 18th and I'm down 21 pounds. I haven't lost anything in about 4 days.
-
Thanks everyone! I haven't ate anymore. I went back to soups and protein shakes. I'm doing much better
-
Ok, I had my surgery February 18 and no matter what I eat it hurts. Has anyone tried to replace meals with liquids? If so please tell me some that worked.
-
I've felt that too. Maybe I should stick to the cream of soups for a while. I don't really have problems with those
-
Also, I have been eating mashed potatoes, soupy grits and oatmeal, cream of soup and other similar foods.
-
I was told to progress to soft foods. I tried eating a egg and a half piece of baked fish.
-
I had my surgery 8 days ago and I'm having problems eating. I tried mash potatoes, a scrambled eggs, soupy grits and more but I can't seem to get them down. How am I to transition?
-
According to the meal plan from my doctor I am to start but I might go back to the liquids

Burping and bad gas six days out.
ShayLove replied to jujube's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I had my surgery the 18th as well but no drainage tubes. I do suffer from severe gas so the doctor told me to take infant gas drops and I'm also using gasx strips. I'm actually doing pretty good as far as being active but still having problem swallowing due to the gas so I'm not eating as much as I should. -
