  8. I can't tolerate citrus fruits at the moment due to gastritis and inflammation at 5 months out -- I was perfectly fine with them at 3 to 10 weeks out so it's frustrating cause I love love love fruits. Hope this intolerance is not forever
  9. I can't tolerate them the way I did pre op so odd I used to looooooove bananas b4 vsg. I will try baby food bananas and see how that goes cause I did well with baby food blends post op

@@plumlove Glad to hear you are feeling better. At 3 weeks out I was extremely fatigued even walking up stairs was a challenge. Could barely get my fluids in due to hernia repair pain. I was out of work for 6 weeks. I did occasional walks around the block at 4 weeks or so for like 10 minutes but my serious fitness began at about 6-7weeks out when I started spin classes again. I'm 5 months out now and back to my normal routine of a healthy spin addiction. I walk and do moderate strength training occasionally at home for about 20-25 minutes or so. Take it easy but do your best to keep moving so the fat comes off without losing too much good muscle. Good luck I'm down 67 since surgery and 90 since last October -- woohoooo!!! My diet is very restricted due to gastritis but I'm hoping that heals up soon cause I miss sushi sooo sooo sooooo bad!

Thanks Deez I hope you are doing well these days and not suffering with past challenges. I'm 5'7" tall and I guess very "big boned"-- everyone says I look smaller but I don't think so. My thighs are massive trust me. I'm still battling gastritis and inflammation so diet is very restricted mostly protein shakes powdered peanut butter soy milk greek yogurt beans eggs cheese and baked fish. I'm hoping things get better very very soon. Talk to you soon!

My current scale has lost its marbles so I can't wait until my new eatsmart scale arrives A few days ago it gave me readings between 168-177 with a mode of about 172 Today it was consistently reading 170.0 so I will go with that 5 months out vsg plus hiatal hernia repair (121213) Highest 293 Surgery about 236-7 Goal 175 Current low 170s -- wowza!!
  22. Mine has been wacky, much heavier with severe clotting post vsg I'm 5 months out now and my 1st cycle post vsg sent me to ER Due to heavy clotting and menstruating plus scary dizziness. Cramps are apparent but not as heavy as pre op ironically I just took the "plan b one step emergency contraception" yesterday so I hope it doesn't negatively affect my next flow
