  1. Ok, interesting NSV. When I walk up stairs, I notice my legs not rubbing together as much. Like I can actually realize a thigh gap. TMI, but I don't ever remember having one when I was younger HA!

  2. Wearing a size 16 these days! So happy about that!! At 6'0 this is an amazing achievement, however, my goal is to get into a size 12 but a 14 will do nicely as well.

Had my co-worker take a picture today too, so check it out. I hate taking pictures, but one of these days I'm gonna really, really like it :)

@mbrinmn, I say the next meeting and I am telling my family not to book anything during that time. See you then and thanks. You can make your dreams happen as well :)

Bought some new gym clothes off the rack at Target. I couldn't believe that I could wear them because it didn't come from the Plus Size section - so, WOW, I look cute in them! Also, picked up some new socks, so I feel workout complete :) Now, next stop, that candy pick up. I am telling myself daily that I don't need it. I mean, I fit into a 14/16 size top just this weekend. Talking about motivation! I'm beginning to feel it a bit more. Thanks again @Ginger Snaps and @pupichupi and everyone that I missed~XOXO

  8. Hate it when people think that having the surgery is the easy way of losing the weight, man if only they knew!!!

  9. Just celebrating my one-month surgiversary and I'm down 32 pounds. Feeling great. Glad I made the decision to do all of this.

Thank you all for your wonderful words of encouragement and wisdom. I'm able to eat more foods that I couldn't eat in the past and although I am not gaining weight, I am not where I was with restriction. PLUS we have this office assistant that brings in candy by the trunk load and everyone is telling her to stop to no avail. I think I'm gonna go buy some new gym clothes - that fit, and see if that doesn't motivate me a bit. Then just say no to the chocolate candy.

  11. Feeling a little frustrated today? I am having a hard time with food again lately, and I keep feeling a sick stomach weird feeling? I figured by this time post surgery 6 months, that my food intake would get batter but apparently not?

  12. I started riding my bike to work in June. Lately I have been riding on my lunch breaks as well. Now others at my office are bringing their bikes so they can ride with me! I'm a trendsetter. I told them that we need biker jackets -- "the Rabid Mongrels".

  13. 6 months post op today, wow 86 lbs in only 6 months? It really feels great!!!

  15. Going in today for my 6 month visit! So excited to meet with the team and do labs.

  16. Challenging weekend of a LOT of driving, trying to find healthy options when I stopped (packed some food but not everything) and having car trouble causing an extra nights stay. Add that to PMS and a problem with my hip keeping me from exercising... I'm in quite a state!

  19. wow, can't believe friday it will have been 6 months already since I have had my surgery, what feels even better is that I am past my half way point before my 6 month mark!!! I am so proud of myself, and how I have handled this!!!

  20. I haven't weighed in FOREVER... I think it's time to get on the scary scale. I think I'm hot without the scale however ;)

  21. Made zuchinni and yellow squash spaghetti with my new toy - The Veggiti and blanched it in chicken broth with onions. Then topped it with a super tender piece of pot roast. Surprised that I could eat the beef since that has been a problem in the past, but all was yummy and went down with no problems!!!

  22. down to 215, only 65 lbs to my final goal. all i can say is wow!!!

  23. So I went to see my surgeon the week before last, and I found out that I have a hernia right next to my big incision site, and now it's starting to really show more than before, as I loose more weight it shows more, so I don't wear anything that is tighter unless it's my undershirt. We spoke about it, and he suggests that I wait till I have lost all my weight to have it fixed? That means 60-70 more lbs before that happens? I don't know it looks funny???

I remember how long it took for you to heal from your incision, so I would do what Forsythia mentioned. Smooth that puppy out (Ha!) Not funny, but really though...
