  1. THIS POST IS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO THEN HAD THE OPERATIONS DONE....WHAT WAS THE HARDES THING FOR YOU TO DO YOU AFTER YOUR OPERATION,AND WHEN DID YOU START FEELING BETTERV DO THINGS....AND WHAT DO YOU LOVE THE MOST NOW THAT YOU HAVE GOTTEN THE OPERATION....

I am like @ Blerdgirl that didn't have any problems whatsoever! I am finding that folk that had hernia repair have the hardest time during post surgery so hopefully they won't find a hernia to repair when they go in. I love looking great in clothes even though I am not down to my goal, I look FABU! I'm not out of plus size clothing yet, but just a few more pounds and I'll be in Misses where I want to be. Recommendation: Lose the bulk of your weight during the first 4-6 months when you have the most restriction because it will be harder afterwards after you adjust to it. NEVER FORGET THIS!

  2. hello,i been putting off going on my cruise would it be cool to go before or after my operation i dont have a date yet

For sure before the date. The food will be tempting and adjustments with your diet will be challenging.

  3. 196 lbs and 16 lbs to meet goal...I'm one happy, singing, dancing lady!!

  4. 6 month checkup coming up. Wondering where vitamin levels are at. I've been so lethargic and somewhat depressed. Wondering if it's vitamin deficiency. Hope to get some answers.

  5. 2 years ago tonight I was put into a coma and they were so sure I was not going to make it...I sure showed them eh! :)

  6. I have lost 99 lbs since the beginning of the year. Only 10 lbs to goal.

  7. Ok, so really started feeling sick to my stomach wednesday and left work early, kept getting worse through the night and then yesterday had to call out, I decided shortly after 8 that I needed to call my doc and so went and saw him and he is concerned about how big my hernia got so now I am set up to go have surgery on the 24th of Nov. I am kinda nerveous, but will be happy to get my second head taken away.

Wow, Pup, I didn't know that you had a hernia or didn't get it removed during surgery!!! Glad that you went in and will be having the surgery. Look you made it through the first surgery and you will make it through this one as well...and just in time to miss Thanksgiving...Gobble, Gobble!

  8. So, I have stopped the creep! Adding in skinny popcorn, taking a bite or two of candy here and there, snacking on my husbands blue chips because I can. It is time to get re-focused with this and since stopping...my creepy crawler has returned from my stomach. The 'monster that lives within' has resurfaced :)

It's great to know that I haven't ruined my 'sleeved' pouch with this stuff because it is picking up on signals of fullness again! Also, it is interesting to note that when you go back to those foods that got us this way in the first place, how you can actually eat more of it and never feel full. Something's definitely wrong with our food industry!

  10. I WANNA KNOW FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THERE OPERATIONS HOW ARE YOU EALING WITH THE EXTRA SKIN IS IT AGGIVATIN HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH IT DEALING WITH CLOTHING

  11. Went to Lane Bryant and found some 'long' (6'0") skinny jeans. The size 16's were too tight around the waist line because of the blubber left behind, so I bought a size 18....WHY??? I am now wearing them today and the legs and butt area are so saggy/baggy. I know that I wear a size 16, but they don't zip around the blub - Hate it! Gonna take them back.

Yeah, extremely frustrated! I just want them to do what 'skinny jeans' are supposed to do and when I asked my daughter to look at my baggy skinny jeans, she said, 'Farmer John'~ Sad, so sad... @pupichupi, I don't want to ask for the removal either until I get down to my goal size either and I don't want to wear Spanx under my jeans either...

  15. Officially moved my weight back up 2 pounds... I haven't done that before because a day or two weight gain always dropped back down but this one's been around long enough now to change the tracker. :( Oh well... onward and upward -- I'm gonna keep doing what's worked so far.

They say the last pounds are the hardest, BUT, it doesn't have to be for everyone. You got this lady!

  16. Ugh so disgusted with myself, I gained 2 lbs for the first time in 7 months and I am so upset. Looks like it's time to re-evaluate what I am doing and eating!!!

Pup, it happens to the best of us. This is what happens when you realize that you can eat a certain food that you hadn't been able to eat..or it could be hormonal or salt. You have been doing so great and I am proud of you, so you better not beat yourself up about this!!!

Look, it could be anything from hormonal, water, or simply omitting something that you have started loving to eat. I stand with you, onwards and upwards, or downwards shall I say :)

  19. I get on the scale and it never moves. It appears that my mind is playing tricks on me. Telling me that I look good where I am and shouldn't try any harder. Must break through this cycle...must break it!!!

Thanks everyone! My clothes are feeling looser so I know the inches are dropping, but I really feel that menopause is getting the best of me and that scale. I will jump on the scale, but I never like watching it in 'stuck' mode.

  21. The sleeve is teaching me better habits that I hope to carry forward after the initial weight loss. My big concern right now is that my body has rebelled against my exercise program. My back has turned into a pain factory. My resultant non-activity feels a little too much like the old me.

  22. 60 pounds today!!! Only 10 more to go for my conservative goal!!! Woot Woot morning!

  23. Went for my blood work for my first yearly physical with my primary since my surgery, so it will be interested to see what all that comes back as, and for them to see how much I have done since my surgery.

  24. No weight loss this week? What a bummer, but I suppose all the stress I am dealing with could have played a roll in that? Will try harder next week!!!

  25. If I keeping feeling so good I'm gonna need to gain weight to keep from floaing away!
