Mine was $250 and I'm embarrassed to admit I have no idea what it covered.

Sassy Pants1 got a reaction from scrapbasket in The Dreaded Catheter!
I had a catheter. Didn't bother me one bit. Walking was not inhibited. Removal is slightly uncomfortable, but it happens so quickly, it's not a huge issue. And no residual pain.

Sassy Pants1 got a reaction from BeagleLover in 300 calories if I'm lucky
I think you're ahead of the game. I was not getting 300 calories at 3 days out. I concur with the advise of getting your liquids and not worry about Protein yet. It will come in time.
Good luck on your journey! It's all very exciting!

Sassy Pants1 got a reaction from BeagleLover in Losing weight too fast? Help!
You're doing great! The first month is the big month of weight loss. You will likely see things slow down a bit each month thereafter. So enjoy the big loss!

My sleeve can tolerate anything. Sadly. It's all about willpower now - some days I am more successful than others.

Sassy Pants1 reacted to Healthy_life2 in Hit my first goal this morning
It's here....Onderland!
Celebrating my little victory. and learning a lot on my journey.
.
Funny how some people in your life cannot be happy for your accomplishments. I have learned to cut these people out of my life but secretly I use them as motivation by placing a picture of them on my treadmill. Knowing how much my weight loss has made them uncomfortable makes me want to hit my goal even more....Is this wrong?

Yes, it's hard. It stinks. You just gotta gut it out. Think about the game plan.

VSGAnn is asking the right questions.
I lost 19 pounds in the first month. Nowhere close to 50.
Around weeks 3-4, most people stall out for a week or so. All normal.

What was your starting weight?
How much did you lose on the pre-op diet?
How much do you weigh now?
Are you drinking any sugary or carb drinks?
Are you exercising?
Are you keeping a food journal?

Sassy Pants1 reacted to Jack Hollywood in Just 3 weeks post op today
On July 7, 2014 I had my surgery. Due to a complication with my thyroid levels my original date was pushed out two weeks. I had already been on the pre op diet for two weeks and when I was pushed two more weeks I decided to remain on the diet. See, I had already dropped 22 lbs in two weeks. By the end of the fourth week and one day before surgery I had dropped a total of 48lbs. Now I am 3 weeks post op and after 8 weeks total I went from 405lbs to 332lbs today. A grand total of 73lbs removed from my body. My arthritis is gone, any other joint pain I had is gone, my outlook on life itself has skyrocketed, and my sex drive is back, ( I had to apologize to my wife) lol. I have been struggling to get down my Vitamins, my stomach does not like them anymore for some reason. I will touch back again soon.
Congratulations to everyone who has decided to take the ride.

At two months, I was down 34 pounds. All of those little losses add up over time. Keep plugging away.
