  1. Maybe they have changed it. I used to use it to make jello-shots lol. A better way to get the color and flavor you want is to make home made Jello. You can use a plain Gelatin mixed with Water and coolaid to make it. Everything taste better home made
  2. Keep the bad stuff out of the house or out of sight. Drink a ton of water or un sweet tea. I got green tea that I sip on all day to keep my hungar away. Focus on the prize. Also cut your portions way down. I stared using my children's plates and bowls for my meals. It really helped me.
  3. I've seen Berry Blue at Wal-Mart.
  4. Thanks everyone, ill will just leave it uo to the experts
  5. Silly question for everyone but I think its a necessary one. I got some chest and belly hair (ima guy ok lol) My question is should I shave it the day before surgery or does it matter?

  9. Im currently on my 2 week pre-op liquid diet.
  10. Yeah my paper says try to lose 5% which is about 18 LBs. But they never said anything about a specific number that is required. Im sure I will be around 15-20 before my surgery anyways.
  11. Hey guys, I am wanting to know how much weight pre-surgery everyone lost. I have lost 10 lb's from the day of my last Dr. (about 2 weeks) and I have 5 days left before my surgery. 368-358lb. Of course I have the feeling its not enough. Maybe its just pre-surgery jitters? lol
  12. Thanks for the link ribearty
  13. I have also had my days/weeks like this. Once before I lost 125lb's with sweat and determination. I used the Military and a better life as a tool for success. Everyone needs tools to be successful. One day it just hit me. I need this as a tool, to jump start a new life. At my first appointment I told my Dr. that I needed to jump start my motivation again. I had gotten so big that my mood and attitude toward life had changed dramatically. Do any of us need this surgery. No way, most of us already have the drive and determination in us to lose our excess weight, some of us just need the push. For me this is exactly the push I needed.
  14. Hi all, I am anxiously waiting the 24th of this month. I have been wanting this change for a long time and I don’t want to forget to do something. So I am compiling a small list of things I need to do/bring the day before surgery. This way I don’t forget anything. SO! If anyone has any input, tips, pointers or otherwise useful information about this topic I am all ears. Thanks guys/gals, Bigbeaz
  15. http://www.military.com/military-fitness/weight-loss/does-water-affect-weight This is a good read
  16. I was always big in high school and then I lost 125lb's. I also had a long period where I didn't lose any weight around 240. Now that I have put all that weight back on I am expecting the same result after my sleeve on the 24th. What you have to do is keep on track. Your body is still adjusting to the weight loss. Also you maybe putting on a little more muscle, witch will make it appear you are not losing on the scale. Just keep it up because once that needle starts moves again it will be coming off just like it was before.
  17. I am getting alot of great information. Thanks to everyone who is posting
  18. . Yes, very helful. I am hoping to be able to drive 10-14 days after my surgery. I hope that is the case lol.
