  1. Yes. Everyday gets easier I'm finding. It's great to have this site as much as family and friends have both been supportive and tried to change my mind on the surgery I wonder do they really understand? So having this site to talk to people going through the same as me, some started the journey years ago and some just starting out is exactly what we all need.
  2. I'm going to make an effort to get more water down too. It's so hard when you have such a busy lifestyle
  3. Me too. I don't drink anywhere near as much as I should either. I'm looking forward to getting into a good routine while eating a healthy balanced diet. I know it's very early days for us being banded on the same day.
  4. Thanks. I will try that. I've lived off carrot and coriander soup for the past 8 days. And then any other soups I just add loads of pepper. I'm craving scrambled eggs with tomato so much. Cooking for family and remembering not to pick is tough going. How are you feeling now? I'm back to my usual self just a bit sore where my port is situated but I'm guessing this is totally normal.
  5. Hi all. I'm new to this but here goes. I was banded on the 17th October in bromsgrove. (9days post op) I am still on liquids and am really struggling with it. I can't wait to have a bit of soft food. Can anyone recommend a good menu for while on the soft diet? I have had an ap small band with a max capacity of 10cc. My surgeon added 4cc during surgery. While preparing some home made soup the other day I did something that clearly I am not aware I do. I ate a huge chunk of raw carrot without even realising until the pain hit. Oh my lord was it bad the raw carrot was stuck. I was so angry with myself that this happened but obviously I was unaware of what I was doing as it's just a normal habit that I would do daily. Anyway I'm fine now but it scared me so much. Would love to here from others new to this and also the pro's. Jo
