He is but I saw him in Mexico and he doesn't have problems over there. My coworks went before me and had their after care here until he had to stop, he wasn't doing surgeries here only after care and that doesn't affect any work that he did to me so I was fine seeing him. I was aware but still went because of his work I am happy. I had extended tummy tuck, breast lift with implants and lipo in the back.

I went to Dr. Martin Yanez also in TJ, I had my surgery back in Feb. 21.

I had a breast lift with implants on the Feb. 21st and my implants never moved down so I had to have another surgery 6 weeks later April 3rd to take out the implant open the bottom pocket of my breast and put the implants back in, in a lower position its uncomfortable but not painful, I work as a secretary so I don't to any lifting or pushing at work its all computer work.

I had my breast implants repositioned April 3rd (my original surgery was Feb. 21) and went to work the very next day, very sore but nothing I could not handle.

My surgery was suppose to take 5 hours but ended up being 6 hours and 45 minutes due to a large hernia that needed to be removed.

Julie since you lost that much weight after you tummy tuck does it make a difference in your stomach?? or does it just adjust and its still flat??? I want to loss another 10 to 15 pounds but I just had my tummy tuck in February.

No the first time 2/21 I had a tummy tuck, lipo and breast lift with implants and was fine after a week, I had no pain but some discomfort and was out of work for 2 weeks. The second surgery was 4/3 to reposition my implants because they moved up instead of down and my boobs were shaped funny so the doctor had to do a boob job again, pull out the implant and open up my lower pocket in my boob so that the implant would go down and stay down, this is the one that I went to work with the very next day.

3 weeks after my tummy tuck, lipo (on the waist) and breast lift with implants, the doctor told me that my swelling was almost gone but I still get my days where I swell allot like on Thursday after my surgery my stomach felt and looked very swollen. I am lucky I heal quit fast and I feel really good. Maybe I can start excersing soon so I can start lossing weight, I never did loose any from my actual surgery.

I am 33 years old and yes went to work the very next day, I was tired and a little sore but nothing I couldn't handle. I am also a single parent of three boys (12, 8 and 2) and Friday night we had a soccer game so after work I went home rested for about an hour and went off to the game, Saturday morning I went to work at 5:00am, church at 9:00pm and had a party for my boys at 5:00pm, by Sunday I felt normal again but I did have 2 soccer games so I have to keep going because I have nobody to help me out with my kids so I have to keep up with there schedules.

I had my work done back in Feb 21 and I posted a few weeks back that my boobs were to high and I wanted them lowered well after my fourth week I went to see my doctor and he agreed that they didnt come down at all and that he needed to do my another surgery to lower them well my surgery was last week (04/03/08) exactly 6 weeks after my original surgery, I have to tell you that it went great I had surgery to relocate my implants and replace one and my boobs look great I am so happy now, I went to work the very next day with minimal pain and but some disconfort. I only took the pain meds 2 days because I didn't need them. Today is Monday and I feel normal no pain and I am not even sore, if it wasn't for the tape I have covering my ariola were they did the surgery I would say I didnt even have one. I am lucky that I am one of the few that didn't have pain from my original surgery and I had allot of stuff done at once and recovered very soon. I went dancing last weekend (salsa dancing) and I felt great after no soreness or swelling. O one thing did anyones period change following your plastic surgeries?? Mine did the second time I normally start the 12th of the month and I started on the 4th??

I got my band in January 2005 and by that August I was pregnant it did take me a whole year after the baby was born to get re-motivated because its hard to get restarted once you stop. I hit my 3 year mark this January and I am down 85 pounds and in February I finally did my Tummy tuck, breast lift with implants and lipo. I was very lucky to only gain 23 pounds because I only had a partial unfill but if I were to do it again I would wait to get to my goal because its hard to start all over again.

I have a question for everyone who has had there tummy tucks before me, I will be six weeks this Thursday and I still get some what swollen and I have to wear the girdle for 2 more weeks, how long did your doctor advise you to wear the girdle and at what point did you notice that you were no longer getting swollen???

Wow Sazzy you have had your band for 12 years that's great, how does the band work for you long term??? Are you at goal and maintaining??

I did have muscle repair.

I am almost 4 weeks out and I returned to work on my 2nd week people just noticed I walked slow but never mentioned anything else, also I still wear the same cloths as before so they can't tell I got anything done. I am waiting till I no longer have to wear the girdle to wear nice cloths but I am getting impatient because my cloths is to big.

I have kind of a dumb question, I work in an office and its been almost 4 weeks since my surgery are we allowed to wear heels?? I have been wearing flats but I cant stand it anymore because I always wear heels and I forgot to ask the doctor if I was allowed to wear them or if I had to wait a certain amount of time??

What is an MR?? I had a large amount of tummy removed so my surgeon said that is one of the reasons why I have so much draining, this week its alot less but I still need to get it removed. Thursday will be 4 weeks and I also can wait to stop wearing the binder.

I had a tummy tuck, lipo and a breast lift with implants on 02/21 and I had my drains from the tummy tuck for 9 days after the doctor removed the drains I had to go back on the 4th day because I was still having swelling from liquid in my lower tummy so he removed it will a large needle, I had some more removed on Saturday and I have to go back again tomorrow because I am still having draining has anyone else had this happen?? He said everyone is different and that unless I am completly off my feet the liquid will subside but it will take a while. Also I had a breast lift with implants and my implants are still kind of high so my boobs don't look really round yet how long will it take for them to get lower?? I am just a little over 2 weeks out so I still have a while for the swelling and everything to fall in place. By the way my surgery was great I had no pain only discomft, I only took the pain meds for 2 1/2 days and I was walking perfecly straight within the first 3 or 4 days. Can't post much because I just came back to work and I am very behind.

Nice belly button, mine is going to have to get fixed because its basically flat like if I didnt have one, when the doctor went in to repair my muscle he found a very large hernia and it was pushing my belly button so he had to remove it complelty and make a new one but to me it looks like I don't have one know, at my last appointment I talked to him about that and he said he would fix it just to give it time to heal and we could go in and make it a little deeper o my boobs are still rather high how long should I wait for them to drop, my doctor said it can take from 3 weeks to several months but I am so inpatient I want him to go and push them down a bit.

My doctor told me that i didn't need an unfill so I didn't get one and I am glad because for some reason days after my surgery I was able to eat more than before not much but more than normal. One weird thing was going in I weighed 158 and 3 days later I was 164 it kind of bugs me because they took alot off me and to way more what the heck is that!!!

I had muscle repair and to be honest I didn't have almost no pain since I came out of surgery, I only took the pain meds for 2 day and I was walking straight almost right off, I had most disconfort comming from my boobs but no pain really. Today is 3 weeks for me and I have been back at work since Monday. I guess I am one of the lucky ones that really doesn't get any pain, I felt alot more pain when I had my tubes tied and thats because my doctor had to do it like a c-section because she wasn't familiar with the band and wasn't sure if I had scar tissue around my belly button because of my band.

I also had my plastic surgery on 02/21 everything was great not much pain at all, I walked out of the hospital because I felt pretty good the next day of the surgery. My drains were removed 9 days later but I am still having swelling the the lower tummy and the doctor has to drain it every 4 days or so, I am almost 3 weeks out on Thursaday and I am already on my 2nd day back at work. I have an important question, kind of embarassing but important, when can we have SEX again???? I am totaly ready because I have a very flat tummy!!!!

I do wear my girdle I don't take it off other than to shower, thanks for the reply I was starting to feel very disappointed with my boobs but your answer made me feel better, I guess I am expecting results to soon (Thursday will be 3 weeks).

I am getting my Tummy Tuck and maybe a breast lift with Implants next week and I need to know for all the poeple who have already went through this process how long were they in actual pain and how long were they off of work?? I am taking 2 weeks off of work but wanted to know when did you start feeling normal again. I am excited yet nervous because I have 3 kids and I can't take to much time without being able to do my normal routine. Also I heard that a lift is much more painful that implants can that be true??? I need feed back really soon. Thank you

Harleynana did you feel that way from pain or what was the reason you felt woosy when you would take off teh compression garment?? I am due to have surgery on Thursday the 21 and I am starting to feel stressed.
