  1. Water gets boring if that's the only thing consuming. I'm the type of person that gets tired or bored of something quick. Especially if it gets repetitive. I live by change and options.
  2. Does anyone else's stomach gurgles, bubbles, twitches, whatever you want to call it. It happens every time I drink and eat. Feels like a bad case of the bubble guts. Its not painful but rather annoying and discomforting. I'm post op (12/10/13)
  3. Anyone has or had problems drinking reduced sugar drinks? My body and mind can't take the artificial flavors anymore it makes me sick. One sip of anything diet makes me nauseous makes me wanna throw up. I've since started drinking regular drink and diluting them to avoid dumping and 8 ounce amounts to avoid in taking too many calories. Seems to be working for me.

  5. Hello all, As some have seen me posting on here from time to time, on 12/10 I went in for removal of the lap band and conversion to gastric bypass. I was released yesterday (12/15) from the hospital. I was there for 5 days. My surgery was not your traditional 2 days stay after. All went well the day of surgery, the day after (12/11) my drains were releasing 4x the average discharge at an alarming rate. Well that day I had emergency surgery to explore where I was bleeding from. Came to find out afterward I was bleeding from a ruptured vessel where my port was located. An ICU trip, 3 pints of blood later, and 3 extra days in the hospital. Here I am reporting my journey.
  6. Im having a revision from lap band to gastric bypass. I woke up this morning and and it hit me! Tomorrow is the big day! So now im as nervous as Michael Jackson at a school yard. And words or advice to help me get through this?

  8. My revision from lap band to bypass is on dec 10th. My question is what else did you drink during this stage besides the generic guidelines provided. (eg; water, broth, jello, diluted juices, powedered drinks, etc.)
  9. Thats what I drink. I love it! Low sugar and calories, high protein (30g). Sams club has the case of 12 for $18.88 CHEAP!
  10. That sucks man. Honestly the best thing to do is give them what they need/want. Its a downhill battle when you fight with these insurance companies.
  11. Drink water before, after and in between the shakes. It will help with the hunger as it will occupy space in your stomach that the shakes dont fill. The qyucker u drink the water the fuller you feel.
