Welcome and best wishes to you!!!

I was 305 at the start of my two week pre-op and 299 on the day of surgery.

Congrats on your success!!!! You look awesome!

I still drink them. I continue to try different brands. I also drink Nature's Best Isopure, 40grams of protien in a 20oz bottle. My favorite flavors are grape and coconut.

Don't forget chargers for your portable devices. Once I was back in my room recovering I listened to my ipod non-stop. The music helped me to relax. The only minor discomfort I felt was from the gas they inflate you with. Start walking as soon as you can, it should help to relieve the discomfort. Good luck and best wishes!

Happy to hear that all is well. Congrats on your success so far!!

I had to wait 10 weeks before I could swim, or use the hot tub.

I was very excited and was at peace with myself. As they wheeled me into the surgery room, I closed my eyes and smiled. I don't even remember being sedated.

My first week post-op was pretty mellow. I walked a mile outside everyday, took a few naps, and sipped fluids all day. I drank a lot of Nature's Best Isopure to get in my Protein. I took 3 weeks off work. The hardest part for me was the lifting restrictions. I wasn't allowed to lift weights, swim, or run for ten weeks. Hang in there, it will get better.

The last two weeks pre-op were very sleepless for me. Congrats on your date and best wishes to you!!!

My doctor and I talked about all 3 and we both agreed that RNY was the right one for me. I liked the estimated excess weight loss and I liked the idea of dealing with dumping syndrome if I didn't stick to the plan. I am very happy so far that I had RNY.

I was excited. My surgeon went over a bunch of stuff and then gave me the chance to ask her a bunch of questions. When I left her office that I day I knew I had made the right decision.

I wish you the best Yvette!!!

I had two friends concerned with me dying. I explained to them the very low mortality rate and that I appreciated their concerns. Now, 100 pounds lighter those same two friends lavish me with compliments every time I see them. Overall I couldn't care less what people think. I did this for me and me alone.

I started a new job at the same company 8 weeks before my surgery. During the interview I chose not to say anything for fear of it hurting my chances. After I got the job and it was official, I approached my new supervisors and told them what I was doing. They were very supportive and I was able to take 3 weeks off. After I came back I couldn't lift more than 20 pds. Again, they were completely supportive. Since then I have been very open and honest with everyone who has noticed my 100 pd weight loss. I have had nothing but compliments and praise.

Hang in there!!!! Best wishes!!!!

I can eat just about any fruit I want. I was never told I couldn't. I would check on that with your nut.
