    Buffet restaurants?

We have two places where I live, I don't go there anymore, but one of them charges by the pound, the other charges a flat price.

    Body measurements

They did not. I had my trainer at the gym take all my measurements. We do that once every 3 months. Yesterday I bought a size 31x30 pair of boot cut jeans. Pre-op I was wearing 48X30 jeans. So even without the measurements, it has been easy for me to see my progress.
  5. I love hitting the weight room and working my legs. Lunges are my favorite. For cardio nothing beats mountain biking.
  6. www. obesityhelp .com click on resources, click on post-op planner This is what I used as a guide for my weight loss. (I can't put the link in my post, it won't let me)

    exercise time of day

Anytime of day or night works for me. I have to admit, I started working out at 430am, because the gym is a lot less crowded.

    All the attention...

I have had a few random women pass by me and look at me and say "hi." My trainer and her client stopped lifting weights to watch me walk past them. One of my female friends told me my butt looked great in the jeans I was wearing. I had a female at work tell my female co-worker "I never noticed him when he was heavy" My girlfriend thinks I am gorgeous. My brain is trying to catch up to my body, I don't know if it truly ever will. I won't lie, I have enjoyed the attention. Today as I was putting on my Youth size large workout pants, I said out loud: "there is no way my huge butt is going to fit into these tiny pants." It does. And it amazes me everytime. Just my two cents...
  15. Great job with that. I weigh myself once a week, on monday, in the morning. And that is only to keep myself honest, not to get upset over a stall or to hope I lost more weight, although that is still happening.

    Isomnia?!

I can't recall this happening, but on nights when I can't fall asleep I put on some soft music and that usually does the trick.

    Suggestions to cure post-surgery boredom?

I don't recall getting bored. The first 3 weeks flew by for me. I took multiple walks a day, multiple naps a day, and had my head buried in WLS related books and websites such as this.
  18. Awesome!! Glad to hear everything went well. Best Wishes!

    Protein Shakes

I haven't tried that one yet. I love Jay Robb brand. I buy it at GNC.

    Personal trainer

I love my personal trainer. We meet every other week. She writes the workout programs for me and is always e-mailing me with nutritional tips, articles, etc. She has even gone running and biking with me outside of our scheduled times. I canceled my cable tv provider and that pays for my trainer. I should also add that my trainer and I are always trying to make each other laugh in between sets. We have a great professional relationship. I also clean my gym once a week for an hour at a time, in return I get a free membership and free tanning.

    I'm concerned it won't work...

It will work, but you will need to put in the effort to make it truly successful. The WLS is just the tip of the iceberg. The rest is up to you. Good luck and best wishes!!!
