  1. I am in Washington also! I'm going back through older posts in hopes of finding a support group locally. A friend of mine and myself are currently in the process with St. V in Carmel. Would love to chat some more with you! Sorry.. I hate this new pariatric pal thing the app was so screwy I just quit bothering with it and I tended to come here more from my android than my computer so in essense I don't really get over here very often
  2. Sorry I've been slacking. Lots of pain and very tired since surgery :/ Just wanted to say Good luck to upcoming surgery peeps and prayers for a speedy recovery to all pre & post-op peeps.

  4. Good luck to the following people today. Prayers for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery! D Jordan jko rmsd118 This may be the final time I update the calendar this month. My surgery is in 2 days and I don't know if I'll feel up to it, or anything else, for awhile. If someone is willing to take the reigns of posting each days surgeries please let me know.
  5. Just wanted to say I haven't forgot about you all. I have company over this weekend until tomorrow and it makes it hard to do the calendar stuff. Good luck to those having surgery today: janifer's hubby, rnjsnana & mychoice2lose.

  14. From everything I've hear and read left side pain is completely normal. As far as the eggs everyone has diff intolerance Some can't tolerate beef or chicken. I wouldn't be too concerned .
  15. Wow!! The diff in surgeons never ceases to amaze me. I'm scheduled the day after you and only have a 2 day liquid diet. I'm thinking about doing a few more days on my own... specifically my days off this week Tues,Wen & Thursday then, because I need energy to work, if I feel weak I'll allow myself only high protein foods (no sugar, no junk) for Fri,Sat & Sun then I'm off until Surgery. I can do the days leading up to surgery liquid also except dinner on the 11th because my Dad is coming to town b4 surgery specifically so we can still do Our Thanksgiving dinner. Don't know.. just an idea I'm toying with because I haven't exactly been on my best behavior...
  16. Have any of you changed insurance after surgery? Does an insurance that doesn't typically cover surgery cover aftercare after the surgery has already been done? I just got to thinking that the chances of me being with my current ins forever is slim to none and I'd like to know what my future holds with regards to insurance. If I switch insurance to one that doesn't cover surgery at some point then have issues (a stricture, leak or something else that is considered a risk from surgery for example) will I be screwed?? What about after care- like post-op appts to have vitamin levels checked etc.?
  17. Added names from other November thread-
  18. Congrats to those who got their dates!
  19. Congrats!! You are the day before me!!
  20. Prayers and speedy recover wishes headed your way!
