That's all great to hear. That's my fear....not getting my diet Pepsi. It's my addiction so it's good to hear it may not be that bad. 5 days til surg! -
Hey everybody! First time on here. Good to know they have these groups so I can read everybody's suggestions and issues and know that I'm not alone! My surgery is in 6 days...July 30th! And, like others I've read, I'm going to miss my food and have been eating more, thinking I'll never get to eat this again! Congrats and/or good luck to everybody!

Oh no! Hate that! I've seen so many different ways the docs do the diets. I have a week of low fat and stop eating the night before the surgery. That's it: seems I got pretty lucky!

Can anybody suggest a decent tasting protein drink for the clear liquids portion of the post op? I've only tasted Isopure and it was disgusting! I think I'm going to need more than water and jello though. Also, what kind of broths are people referring to? THANKS!

Anybody have Dr. Espinal?? He seems like a great guy. Very good bedside manor. Great sense of humor and genuinely wants to help.....just curious if anyone else had him as their surgeon?
