  1. Is it a peachy colored Fluid? My hubby had this with one is the incision. It kept opening and leaking like mad. The nurse said that it was healing from the inside out so the Fluid had to leak out the incision. Just keep it clean and dry and change it accordingly. See your family doc or a walk in clinic if concerned. It took about 3 weeks for it to finally close.

thank you so much for replying. yes it is peachy. I go in tomorrow @ 10 . just scared thinking the worse.

  2. 5 week progress! I have lost 25-26lbs' date=' so five lbs a week average. I will take it! Also 4 inches from my bra line and waist(around my belly button) 6 inches from hips and 2 inches from my arms. I have to admit that when I stalled for almost 2 weeks or only lost 1 lb I was disappointed but looking back and realizing I'm on on week 5 and have accomplished so much already is a great feeling. My work scrubs are all fitting much looser and coworkers have noticed! My sister out these pics together for me.[/quote']

    you look great!

  4. Hi guys...I had my gastric bypass surgery 10 days ago' date=' and I am having such a hard time! There isn't a day that's gone by that I don't regret this! Having the surgery was the worst decision I've ever made! I am mortified about what I've done to my body, how I feel physically, emotionally, everything. I feel so alone and so lost and so hopeless...this stupid surgery has taken everything from me! I've struggled with depression before, but now I feel like I have nothing to live for...

Btw, I'm going to call my doctor in the morning, but what can he do? It's not like he can reverse it...

Did any of you guys go through this? I feel so alone.... :-([/quote']

feeling the same. my surgery was Monday & I'm still in so much pain. I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing. I only eat Jello pudding eas Protein drinks. I'm so scared I'm going to fail.

  5. I survived my first year in this new life. It's been new' date=' scary, exciting, and emotional as I go through all of these challenges. It hasn't been easy but oh man... Has it been worth it!!!

I started my journey at my highest 389lbs and the day of my surgery I was 359lbs today I weighed in at 230lbs... Doing the math I lost 129 in 1 year. But 159lbs total. I am so grateful for the support all my new opportunities.

Still truckin for my bday challenge/goal to weigh in at 200lbs.
