Protein I'm still figuring out. I'm sick of the muscle milk, and whey proteins. There is a protein sold at Costco that is already made Premier Protein. I haven't tried it yet but it has 32 grams of protein and low calorie.

What has your Dr said about the loss?? Are you not eating at all? Or still on mostly liquids? I had my surgery on May 20, I was 309 pre-op and today I'm 275. But I haven't been completely cleared for softer foods yet so I'm not eating much.

We all have or are there with you. Just remind yourself that it isn't forever, yes your food will definitely change but you will get to eat again. I cried for days! I'm 3 weeks out and it is hard but we have to remind ourselves we did this for our health. You can do it!

Deaddemmama is right!! Talk to your dr and nut! We are worried for you if you're fainting! Girl you have to take care of yourself!

Sparklette we'll get to have some soon!!!

Sashimi is my favorite so I cannot wait! I do hear that the rice is the hardest to digest so I will probably skip that for a long time and just have the sashimi. Thank you ladies! Lou I will definitely try that soy paper when I can, I've never had it but you are right about the seaweed paper being tough!

Don't eat anything you aren't supposed to and you'll be fine. You are two weeks out? Take it slow, eat soups those have really been helping me although at times I wish I could eat something else. Remember when we couldn't eat anything?? Now we can and it will get better!

I hate the vitamins too...all chewable I sometimes take some in the morning and some in the afternoon
-
Take small sips, bites etc (I'm sure you are doing that) I forget sometimes and I feel heavy too. It helps to take pauses and come back. Sometimes it takes me 1/2 hour to get my stuff in

It takes awhile to adjust. We really aren't eating set meals a day right now. Just getting in as much water and protein as we can. Chicken broth is also good.
-
Cream of wheat is also good and yogurts low carb

Awesome! Thank you! I'm sure it will be around 6-8 but I just wanted to have something to look forward to! LOL I will check with my Dr next month. Thanks again!

Hi Deaddemmama, where do you get that protein at? I'd like to try that. I'm sick of the powder and need something new! Thank you! -
Hi! What do you typically eat? I'm on soft and have been eating beans, soups, cottage cheese, the laughing cow wedges, sugar free Popsicles, poached egg, SF Jello, SF pudding, blended chicken, blended peas and green beans...
