Went in for my post op today. 5 days out from surgery and I'm down 7.5 lbs. God is so good because I am feeling great. Drove myself to the doctor today. Haven't had pain meds in days. My back and stomach start to feel really tense after I've been up and about for a few hours but that's really it.

I went in Wednesday, out Thursday afternoon. They just made sure I was peeing enough.

Do you think it's okay if I eat some egg drop soup? I am less than a week out from surgery but feeling great. I have had no problems with protein shakes, broths and jello?

Surgery was yesterday morning. Cant believe i am feeling as well as i am! Discharged from the hospital about an hour ago. Feeling pretty good, just occasional spasms or what I think are spasms, it may be gas bubbles. I haven't taken anything for gas. My only real pain is when I take deep breaths in.

Had my surgery this morning, was feeling a little rough for a couple hours. But I'm feeling a lot better now. I have been able to eat ice and peed on my own already!

I had mine today, they did a urinalysis, drew blood, chest X-ray and EKG. All quick and painless.

Thanks! My big day is Wednesday. In starting to feel a little nervous as well.

I am self pay as well! In did my consult and hey scheduled the surgery for 2 weeks after. So surgery is this Wednesday!

Anyone live near Nashville Tn? I am having surgery Wednesday. I moved here for my job 8 months ago and still don't know many people.

So excited for you! I am 24 and having the surgery June 19th! I have been trying to do it for a few years but my insurance companies would never cover it. I'm blessed to have finally finished college and have started my career so I can pay for it now. My highest weight was 340, I lost down to 255 over the last 3 years by dieting. I am using surgical specialist of Mississippi, Dr. Baulder.

I have my surgery scheduled for June 19th. I am so excited. Ready to start my life and feel confident.
