We're trying flank steak stuffed with sun dried tomatoes, spinach, artichoke hearts, and mild bleu cheese. Pound steak thin, rub with garlic,salt,pepper. mix bleu cheese with greek yogurt and garlic in food processor until smooth. Spread in strip down center of steak. Place reconstituted, chopped tomatoes, spinach, and chopped artichoke hearts in beef and roll. Skewer to secure. Grill, turning often until medium rare...should be good.

Through some miracle of the gods I got put into a private room even without requesting one! I loved it! I'm post-op day 5 now, doing ok, still sore but not too bad. I'm already sick of Protein Shakes but at least no nausea, which I'm thankful for. Plain Water seems the worst to go down, don't know why, but thank God for SF Popsicles which go down much easier!

Its just head hunger. It takes a while to get over it. I think it took me like 2-3 months to get over the head hunger. Everytime i walked by the fridge i'd open it and grab something, for no reason at all, just a force of habit. Once you break the habit it gets a little easier.

I would have had some words for that employee and the manager. That s rude. What if you were jist shopoing for someone else. It really isnt that idiots business. I would have words and then leave an never go back to that store.

It is a very good tool but society needs to know the dark side of it. No matter now competent the surgeon is things still can go wrong. What scares me is how mainstream this surgery has become. The bariatric community of phsyicians needs to educate their patients more on the serious side effects this surgery can cause.

I am a little over a month out and there hasn't been one easy thing yet! This has been the hardest thing I've been through. I've cried, I've been mad, I've even wondered "what did I do." This lifestyle change is very emotional! Everyone is different and each of us have our own story but I'm sure everyone will tell you it's definitely NOT an easy way out!

Anyone heard of cloud bread? I calculated in fitness pal. 1 piece has about 34 cals, 1 carb and 2 grams of Protein. It is light as a feather! I'm in love!

It was like my pouch finally relaxed today and I was able to eat more than just a couple bites. I actually got in about 81 grams of protein!

Well tomorrow's the day I'll be seated on the loser's bench! Getting incredibly nervous!

Yes, my good friend basically doesn't want to hear anything about my weight loss. And that sucks because last year she lost 40 pounds and I encouraged her the entire time.

My best friend of 19 years does the same thing to me. Doesn't contact me much & when she does she calls me skinny B. I'm only 2 weeks post op. I'm far from being a skinny B. lol
I think they are afraid we will b thinner than them & ditch them.

One thing I really miss is chugging a bottle of Water. I was usually instantly hydrated. Now I'm lucky if I can finish one before it gets warm. I usually take a big swig and swallow it down in a couple of gulps but its not the same. ????

I'm actually sitting in the ER as I type because I'm having all of your same issues. Can't even sip Water without pain. 15ml hydro condone isn't helping the pain, nor is nausea medicine helping at all. ER doesn't think I'm a priority. Nice huh?

I think it will really help if you join a support group, I am pre-op and I found one and its great, you can see different people struggling and in the same boat as you and me, and it motivates you to see that you are not the only one. Look at pictures of people in here and their accomplishments, I am trying to loose 15 pounds on my own before the surgery and believe me sometimes I feel like I am just wasting my time, or I think That Maybe I should just love my big body, but then I think about my medical problems, and not being able to get in ride at the fair with my kids and spending $30 on a cheap shirt lol, and I said to myself NO MORE! I want to wear normal shoes, regular cute clothes and live life to the max! So i force my self, and with time, within a year i will be better and next year maybe finally i can buy a bathing suit!!!!! =) Hang in there is only been a few days, you will see the difference soon enough. I am now 100lbs down! July 5th will be my one yr post op. feeling great! Loving life! And have recently found out I am pregnant!! Big surprise lol. Good luck to you all!
