  1. I read this at the right time Karen because I (I'm almost two weeks post op) am trying to stay strong. I recognize that I'm not even physical hungry but I'm surrounded by people who just eat whatever whenever they want. It's a struggle, plus like you said the soft foods are not a good time LOL! Thank you for being inspiring!!!!
  2. I went and checked it all out. There was some drainage but the surgical glue was pulling at a scab. Otherwise they think the incisions look good. I'm working on water intake now. I sip Sip sip. I also sleep sleep sleep. Haha the burning they said will Subside the more I move around so I'm going to try to walk more.
  3. I have this constant headache and this stinging/burning sensation that will sometimes be around my belly button and sometimes around my incisions. Help?
  4. Sorry, I do have Syntrax nectar roadside lemonade protein powder that I got from Vitamin Shoppe and you just add water to it but it's a little too sweet tasting for me.
  5. Sadly I wasn't allowed to take anything before the surgery. I would call my bariatric office and ask if I were you.
  6. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I'm so excited for you!!
  7. My surgeon referred it to me. It's what he requires after bariatric surgery for all his patient's.
  8. I'm feeling good mainly. Still some pain but it's being controlled with the liquid lortab. My mom's waiting on me hand and foot and my best friends surprised me with a visit. I'm thinking I'll go back to work full time next week. I have a visiting nurse coming in the next hour to check on me. Going to ask if I can do protein because my surgeon said to focus on the water. I'm down 3 lbs lol!
  9. This just made my day! I can't wait until I can have a cheese enchilada now!
  10. Good work Med! I'm nervous to even buy a scale because I don't want to get fixated on a number but I have to so I'll have motivation!
  11. Congrats to both of you, that's damn good progress!
  12. I'm laying in my bed but kind if on in incline due to pillows and blankets. I tried the recliner last night and my neck was horribly stuff today from it. Screw that. I napped in my bed and woke up hurting a bit too. :/ but I'll take the bed over the recliner
  13. I'm feeling better everyday but yes more tired!
  14. I hope you find something fast then. Good luck girl!
  15. Sounds like you need a MAN. You definitely deserve better and now is when you need more help. Thank god I'm single honestly.
  16. Giggles good luck!!! Amanda just blow her phone up And see if she answers. Or is there anyone else you can call. Boyfriend needs to be prescribed a chill pill. You're recovering. It's going to be a tough few weeks. He should be on board.
