  4. It's funny how I have to pat my pouch sometimes, like you would pat a baby on their back, in order for me to have a good belch, lol...after eating or drinking, I'll pat my pouch and next a nice burp, I call my pouch, my little baby, lmbo
  5. Sorry to here that, but what kind of complication you had with blood thinners? You're right thank God for health insurance.
  6. I got a bill today as well and so far my portion is $200, I'm not sure what the bill was, I'm curious.

Well today made my 5th week out and my experienced today, everything I ate or drank felt like it was stuck and a few minutes later I would spit up thick white mucus, therefore I phoned my surgeon office around 7pm and I received a return call, instructing me to go to the hospital's outpatient unit where I will receive lots of fluids, toradol for pain, and blood work, my nurse said I was experiencing stomach spasms, he said I will receive treatment for 3 to 4 hours for 4 days, until my stomach relaxes and after that I should be fine, God is my help...
  8. I had insomnia before surgery and I would snore really loud, after surgery, I sleep like a baby, no nightmares, no snoring, as soon as my head hit the pillow, I'm off to a deep sleep, I bet it's your needs that's keeping you up and having nightmares.
  9. In my pocket that I received, no water with food because the water will move the food quickly through your pouch, when your pouch is there to slowly digest the food, so that you will stay feeling full longer.
  10. Good for you, do you have to pack that hole with iodom strips?
  11. Today I had my IVC Filter removed, yayyy, my neck is sore from the small incision, but I'm hoping this is the last time I will be cut on for a long while, lol
  12. Girl I wish, I be hungry all the time, I eat all day it seems, lol...Im not complaining because I get my protein and liquids in...
  13. My stalls have been in 3 days increments, then the scale will move for two days and then stall again, it's crazy, lol
  14. If you are on soft foods, you can get your required protein in with just foods, but I think it's going to take more than three meals a day, unless you far out and can eat more in one sitting...
  15. Why did you have the drain so long? I didn't have a drain, but my main hole had to be packed with iodoform packing strip for about 3 weeks, when my hole was an inch deep I just had to cover it, today is my first day without covering, tomorrow my 4 week check up, I hope all is well.
