  1. Dorm forget your bc! I'm living proof after years of infertility one little oops and all of a sudden here comes baby! I'm 6weeks now. Super important if not ready. Apparently I had a lost my mind moment..but all is ok..I'm happy..just wasn't expecting this just yet..just one oops is all it takes!
  2. Wonderful news!! So glad there is that light at the end of the tunnel. I can't even imagine the joy you have thinking about a life with alot less pain! The way time seems to be flying it will be here before we know it!!
  3. I'm sure it's prob a stall. I hated them but I was when I suddenly seemed to start losing sizes. I hope that's all. You are doing great so hang in there!!!
  4. Thanks! Yes I am looking forward to hearing stories and how things have went during the preg and afterwards.
  5. So after 4months post op and years of infertility and loss, one little "oops", and apparently plans different than mine..I'm pregnant! I'm 6 weeks and in shock still. I'm still trying to hit the gym as much as I can . My intake is suffering with morning sickness but I'm trying to keep hydrated. Any advice from post rny mamas? As happy and excited as I am I also am afraid my plan is going to be totally derailed. I want to have a healthy baby and still try to remain in course. I have like 25lbs left to my goal. I don't see me making that now. I'm not sure how this will be for me post baby. Scared my pouch will stretch, can I support a healthy pregnancy?? So many things floating around in my head. I have been in care with my ob but now I'm going to have to break down and call my surgeon and nutritionist. I feel bad cause I'm afraid they will be so disappointed in me! This little miracle came at a difficult time. My husband is already concerned I will lose more weight. I've tried to assure I've read some folks still continue to lose. In your experiences did u continue to lose or did a gain occur? I know I will gain a bit back just not sure how much. Any advice is helpful right now :/
  6. Ok so I have a bit of news..shocking news. I'm 6 weeks pregnant!! We haven't told our family and friends really as pregnancy is not easy with me. I've had 3 prev miscarriages. I'm on lovenox shots to my belly daily and optimistically hopeful this "change of plans" Is going to be healthy and happy ! It was such a shock..infertility for years and one oops and I'm preggo!!! Still gonna hit the gym and follow this path as healthily as I can. I've asked about what I can and can't do..so I wanna continue on this plan as close as I can..just have to nourish a baby with a bit more intake. I'm so excited and afraid!! I didn't expect 4mo post op to be be preggo! I feel blessed and I hope tho after this baby is born I am able to get back to this lifestyle of health and fitness I've been working so hard for..gonna continue what I can between now and then tho. I'm struggling with getting my protein in fighting morning sickness. Right now the most important part is staying hydrated so I'm trying to focus and ensure I can at least stay that! I call this Murphy's law!!! I was round and preggo looking before and I finally lose weight and get a somewhat flat belly..and here comes baby! Yep Murphy's law
  7. You look amazing!!!! U look toned and fit!!!! I'm blown away!!! Awesome job
  8. Also have bought some vitamins & supplements in "pearl" form. Those do melt and really aren't too big. At least should prevent the stuck feeling. I've found them at Walgreens also.
  9. It would be so fun!!!! I would love at 1 year for us to be able to combine all the weight total we dropped as a group! Can u imagine how incredible that would be?!? I'm pretty sure it would be an amazing experience for all of us to see!!!
  10. Here is my getting ready to sweat pic. Finally seeing I have changed so much. That's day of surgery Friday
  11. Ok so since pics are coming out..here's some of mine. I did a bit of collage and every time I feel icky I check it out. god has brought me so far! It's incredible how blessed I feel and just overall so much stronger and healthier!!! Love u guys!!!
  12. I think it's a bit of a body image issue. I have my own issues when I know I don't quite look like the same person to others . Only time I can really tell I look much different is in side by side pics. That's what keeps me going. There are some issues tho in the work that might derail me soon so I'm trying to be grateful for how far I've come as I may go no further. I think u look amazing! Not only that u look amazing for a mom of 7 kids!!!! That just blows my mind! No way no how!!! I understand how it feels but trust me u look beautiful girl!!!
  13. I also am a emotional eater. I've struggled with this especially with stress hitting me hard. I've have to turn to walking or exercising. I also try to make sure I always have things like sugar free Popsicles on hand or something I can use as a healthy "treat" it's truly not easy but I know this is something I may always struggle with. Good luck!!
