Passed my Tor F test!!!! Now I have to wait about a week and call my surgeon so I can set up an appt. to get my surgery date! Finally finished all my requirements!!

Took my 565 question t or f test and go this Thursday for the results of that! Then just have to wait for surgeon to contact me with appt. Does anyone know if they usually schedule surgery date before insurance is approved? I have heard a few on here say they had date before approval! Was just wondering, getting anxious to get this done!

I am supposed to start taking the calcium citrate w/ magnesium now before my surgery and am trying to find a reasonable place to buy them. A lot of places require you take two at a time which isn't a savings and I also have to take a multi vitamin plus 2 vitamin d a day so any info would be appreciated! THANKS!

Can you use crushed ice as a source of water so u aren't drinking so fast?

I have been doing the Fidelis requirements since February! I had to go to meetings and have an ekg, stress test blood work, 6 visits with nutritionist and am finishing up 3 trips to mental health then have to get clearance from my PCP and then back to surgeon for surgery date! Have to go through lots of hoops to get there but it will be worth it!

Congrats to you! I went to my first mental health apt yesterday! Have my true or false test there next week and one more apt with them after that, then hopefully back to my surgeon for a surgery date! Fingers crossed!!!

I haven't had my surgery yet but want to stock up on stuff! Can we have the protein shakes that mix with milk or just the ones that use water?

My surgery hasn't been scheduled yet! Havent done the mental health part yet! I was just wondering if anyone else knew how long it took once paperwork was sent in! Good luck with your journey! Keep me posted!!

Good luck to everyone having surgery his week! My thoughts are with you! The lists that everyone put on here were great because I never would of thought of half of it!! All I have left to do is my mental health trips and insurance approval so Im excited about it!

I talked with the woman at MH and I have to go three times >1st > evaluation>2nd two hour true or false test> 3rd> get results!

Thank you! I have heard that where I live we have to make 3 visits to MH! I am going to call them today to see if they got my paperwork straightened out! I am going to ask them then what their requirements are. Quite a process but will be well worth it!

I have all my requirements done but mental health! Drs. office forgot to send paperwork to them so still waiting for appts! I have heard a lot of different stories about the evaluation and was wondering what it consisted of. I have no mental health issues so I hope I do fine!
