I had a port that was attached to my stomach lining inside...the would stick a needle in it to fill my band with saline to tighten it. -
My insurance would not cover the sleeve..only band or rny bypass. I already had the band for 7 years so did the rny this time. I have a friend who did the sleeve...seems to be working well for her. Dr told her she can do the bypass portion later if she needs to.

I had my band removed and bypass the same day. My band was in for 7 Years. Surgeon said everything went fine. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago. Why do other surgeons wait????

My doctor has me take two multi vitamins (Flintstones with iron) in the morning with a b complex liquid . Then two chewy calrates in the afternoon. I do a b12 shot once a month. He has me take the same ones at the same time just does not want me to mix them.

After one week on liquids I can have cottage cheese... eggs...cream soups...SF pudding... yogurt..and of course the protein shakes. -

Date of surgery 4/23. Hunger has subsided a little but I am not losing. Its been a week since my last weigh in and I gained 1.5lbs. So frustrating. I have not cheated one time. How can I gain weight eating 1/4 cup of food per meal???? Eating all the foods on my list. Grrrrrrr -
Kristy...do you use it in place of creamer? Does it make it thick?

I am 6 days out and have been hungry since I left the hospital. Even when I ate a scrambled egg with cheese it didn't do anything. I never felt full. Went from lapband to bypass. I am worried. Any advice?

Everyone else says they would feel full after a couple bites. I am miserable and definitely feeling like I have made a mistake.
