I just had surgery March 5. I just turned 45 and was 373 at surgery. I went down to 327 but got into bad habits and now 340. I am so disappointed in myself. The only thing good is that I'm at waist 50" from 56" and my diabetes is gone. I think I stretched my pouch. I seem to be able to eat more without even dumping. I am not sure what to do. Plus my gas is horrendous.

Surgery 09-2011 331 lbs....today 211 lbs

I been gluten free since about 6 months prior to surgery. I never have this issue unless i way overload my stomach.

I noticed I feel this way when I over eat or especially taking in carbs...

I'm not a dude but started at 340 and am now maintaining about 155-158.. Had surgery 02/21/11.. My experience has been really good!!

For the most part...ive had an awesome experience. .most of my "fat guy" medical ailments gone...yahoo...and 34 waist jeans is crazy! I am getting a little TOO comfortable and falling back into old habits. I suppose that is a problem...male or female. Looking for a few guys to chat with going through the same...otherwise its like dieting w my wife...I can ( or should say I used to) be able to eat twice as much food and lose weight four times as fast! Haha.

I was wondering if anyone developed gluten intolerance or irritable bowel syndrome after gastric bypass. I'm 1 1/2 yrs post op and notice when I eat certain things my tummy feels gassy' date=' bloated, and just blah. These are not new foods either. I also feel super tired and sleepy and have put on about 4-5lbs. If anyone has experienced this, please let me know your suggestions. Thank you! [/quote']

Gees...I know this feeling VERY well...Im also 1 1/2 yr out....did you get any advice or suggestions to share? ?

THANKS....I feel better compared to being 300 + lbs! Insides...depends on the day..the bad days are usually self induced discomfort eating wrong stuff!

Hey Guys...looking for guys w similar stats for email and chat for support. RnY 09/11 Start Weight 333 Present Weight 229.

I am almost 3 weeks post op. I had alot of pain the first week and a half. This morning I feel like I have a terrible left side cramp and I cannot get it to let up. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this and if there is anything I can do.

I had all sorts of pains from stabbing to dull after surgery especially the first few months...im now 1 1/2 yrs out....it gets better!!
