  1. Had some strange pains near my left incision area. It has been a rough few weeks. Was all excited because I hit 103lbs gone forever!!!! Then, had an ovarian cyst wreak havoc on my and sent me to the ER. Today I couldn't distinguish if the pain was the pulled muscle from surgery or the cyst again. Laid in bed sleeping due to pain meds all day. I am happy I have lost so much now, but still having pain. Sounds like others are having some issues too. Hope everyone starts feeling better soon. Sure proud of this group and so happy to be a part of it.
  2. So the ER was NOT great. It was a 12 hour process but found out what was wrong. Seems I have a very large cyst on my left ovary that grew with all the hormonal changes in my body. They basically had to shoot me up with pain meds. They starred with morphine but that didn't help at all. Went stronger just enough to knock me out. Now, I have to worry about it rupturing. Omg! The pain is indescribable!!!
  3. At the ER for the first time since surgery. Was doing so good, down about 94 lbs altogether. Woke up this am in so much pain. Feels like a stabbing pain all around my belly button. This sucka so bad. I hate waiting at the ER, I just don't have patience for this.
  4. Having weird cravings for the last couple of days. Can't sleep at all lately, and just craving pickles. I have gotten between 65-85 grams of protein every day, and drinking all kinds of things throughout the day. I have finally found protein bars that I like, and that is really helping me. I am even hitting above 600 cals which I wasn't for a long time. My hair is falling out Sooo bad! It is scary. I even have biotin, but still happening. Hope it doesn't get worse. NSV- because of the way I am cooking everyone in my family is losing weight. My little girl has a much stronger sense of eating to fuel your body and not just eat. She was chunky, but has lost 12 lbs now. So proud of her.

  6. I started at a 30/32, the biggest size most plus size stores sell. I was pretty damn happy to try on and for Linda baggy into a 22 today. I am finally starting to be okay with shopping, it is crazy how awful it was to buy clothes before.
  7. I am doing the same thing! I went through my closet and jeans that I was trying to get into are too big! It is awesome, but scary too because the change has been so drastic that I am worried it won't last and then I will have yo shop for giant clothes again. My big clothes feel like my Woobie (security blanket). Lol!

    Had about 10 strings of hearth healthy spaghetti sauce that has protein, and spaghetti sauce with low fat ground beef. Some low fat mozzarella on top and it was YUMMY!!!
  9. The zucchini one is delicious, just broil the zucchini a little first to dry it out a bit. :-)

    An egg with roast beef slices, tomato, mushrooms and onions. Pepper jack on top. I feel hungry today, not sure how I feel about it.
  11. Yeah, I agree! It got the best of me today too, I was trolling websites for some new recipes. I tried eggplant lasagna, and now my family might not ever let me cook again! I am a very good cook but apparently not with eggplant. Lol!!!

    What ya eating tonight?

    Every once in a while I crave something sweet. Tonight I got my sweet tooth fix on something yummy! I got this recipe from "theworldaccordingtoeggface" but tweaked it a little bit. It was AAAHHHMMAZING! Mix 1 egg, 2 tbspn silk, 2 tbspn canola oil, 1 tbspn Tolani SF raspberry syrup all together (I found the syrup in the coffee isle at Walmart). Mix in 1 tbspn sugar free cheesecake jello, 3 tbspn whole grain or heart smart pancake mix, and 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder. Put in a little bowl and only fill it halfway. Nuke it for about 2 minutes and the let it sit for a minute out of the microwave. Flip it over and cut into three or four layers. I covered mine with SF strawberry jam and FF whip cream. Was so good. Not something I can have every day but totally delicious!

    Yep... but I just throw it together, don't really measure anything. Deboned, cooked chicken Fire roasted green chilies Cream of mushroom soup Cream of chicken soup And low fat shredded sharp cheddar For my family, I put it over rice like a layered casserole. I don't eat the rice, but it is still amazing!!! My dad was a chef, it is his recipe.

    My NUT says to have a variety and to include a bite of starch and then veggies. I am able to eat about 4 oz now. The more I eat, the faster I lose it seems. I am looking at getting some protein bars to supplement. There are so many out there. Anyone tried the Quest bars?
  15. 80 lbs gone forever!!!! I started trying to lose weight pre-surgery on Feb 22nd. I was 391lbs, but never felt that big. Had surgery on 4/15 and have been kinda bummed about only losing 37lbs since surgery but now I realize I am down a total of 80lbs altogether as of 2/22. I can't believe it!! I have noticed that the more I eat, the more I lose. I am branching out and trying new things that are good for me and truly appreciating every bite. This was the best decision I have ever made. I am glad to have this forum to know everyone and see such amazing progress.
  16. Pulled muscles on the left side of my tummy has flared up pretty bad for the last two days. So frustrating to be in pain and at work trying to be nice to people over the phone. Arg...

    A tortilla Mexican pizza with a little ground beef and a little watermelon. I liked the watermelon, but I am not sure how Millie (my pouch) feels about it. **grumble city**

    I had surgery the same day as you did, I think. 4/15. I use the flat out breads to make pizza, they are yummy. I just try a little bit here and there of everything else. My Nut gets after me if I ONLY eat protein. I am supposed to be eating 4-5 times a day to get in my 800-1200 cals a day but honestly it has been more like 400-600. I am eating fine, pretty much can eat most things now, but grilled pork chops took me a long time to eat. Not sure I would try that again. Lol. Seafood seems to sit the best with me. I haven't had to do a protein shake for awhile. I even had strawberry shortcake yesterday. Was a microwave recipe from "the world according to eggface" website. Was actually really good. Tiny amount of SF strawberry jam, and one squirt of FAat Free Whip cream. Was AMAZING!

    I haven't tried pop but was out the other day and completely spaced the no straws thing all the way thru dinner. It didn't bother me at all, no gas or anything.

    I had a about an oz of protein spaghetti noodles (which weren't bad) and some meat sauce. Was yummy!! First time I tried a real carb since surgery! Lol! I have a question, what types of carbs are you eating? I have read some people are able to have some bread with a burger or tortillas, or even a little pasta. I am just trying to see what other carbs people are eating.

  22. Hey all! Hope everyone is well. Been a crazy week. Threw up twice, both this week, but I guess that isn't that bad since I am 7 weeks out and was doing great. I ha e only lost a total of 31.5 lbs since surgery. My highest weight was 391, and I am at 317 now. All this weight lose happened since February! I can't believe it!!! Finally had to break down and buy a few clothes to get me to the next stage. Oh, and I went for a walk and felt so good that I actually started to jog for almost a mile. That is a major accomplishment for me!! It was 114 degrees when I went though but the whole ability to do it was awesome!
