I feel your pain liane. I'm three weeks out today and on purees...talk about boring...can't wait till next Tuesday so I can have shaved deli meat, tuna and toast!! Not together of course!! Lol -
I know you can get it at gnc...I'm guessing it's fairly expensive as i tried the pre made fruity protein drinks and they are almost $6 a bottle...I think they tasted horrible...

I'm with you nursenicci...I am three weeks out and can't get my protein in to save my life...I'm not getting all my fluids in either but I think I'm doing better on that than the protein...I can't stomach the shakes so I try to get it in with my food but that isn't possible right now...

Shawna the pain will gradually get a little better each day...I will be three weeks out tomorrow and am not completely pain free but it's not horrible...

I will be three weeks out tomorrow and tonite I had a scrambled egg for the first time since surgery. I was scared to death as I have heard so many ppl have problems with eggs. All went well!! I'm glad cuz it was pretty good!! -
I went back to work last Tuesday and was tired too...this week is better so far I think...

Was 16 lbs...then I gained one...ugh!!

Mine was the 6th of August and I have gained a lb since my two week appointment...I'm confused as I really don't eat...I'm hoping this is because I'm supposed to start my period in a few days!!

I'm only a little over two weeks out so I'm in the pureed stage...tonite I decided I needed to make these refried beans a little more appealing...I added shredded cheese, taco seasoning and some plain Greek yogurt...delicious!!! -
I'm so fortunate to have my supportive hubby...as a matter of fact, he sent me a text the other day telling me how proud he was of me for being so strong and going thru all this...it got nee teary...I love that man!!

My problem isn't that I can't tolerate them as far as my stomach...I just can't stand the taste anymore...I try but it almost makes me throw up...

For the last two days my stomach hurts every time I take a drink of something....I'm fine eating...tho it's only pureed stuff...it's the liquid that seems to make it hurt...I take a drink, it hurts for a minute and then stops... -

I'm having the same issues...lost 16 in about the first 10 days...and 1 lb since then...today is day 15...I know I'm not getting anywhere near the protein I should be...but its soooo hard!!! -

Oh ok...I took colace twice a day for about the first week...I also take pepcid, oxycodone for pain (which I usually just take before bed to help me sleep), my bariatric chewable multivitamin (gag) and I also take allergy meds...I don't start my calcium citrate for a few more weeks...
