  1. I just celebrated my one year anniversary! I have lost 106lbs, which was 77% excess weight lost. I have to admit that I am still feeling lost, and fat(does that ever go away?) I feel like I sabotage myself. My weight has been EXACTLY the same since

February, and it is super frustrating. I weigh 166lbs and can't seem to lose anything else. On a positive note, I just got approved for skin removal on my stomach, yay!

  2. I could not take the wads of hair any longer. Went today and had about 6 inches cut off. She put some long layers in and does help it to look fuller. Not use to this barely to my shoulder length but hopefully won't have such massive handsfull coming out since it's short. Maybe I will learn to like it.

I know exactly what you mean! My hair was 2/3rd's the way down my back and I hacked off 12 inches. It feels so much lighter and looks so much healthier! I would never have imagined that a bob would look cute on me, but now that my fat face is gone, I kinda love it.

  3. I've only lost 5 pounds this month. I feel like my surgery is failing me.... I've tried upping my calories, lowering my calories, exercising more/less. I am 3 pounds away from being under 200 and I just can't seem to get there. I'm coming up on 4 months post-op and I just feel like I should be further along, there is no way I will make goal by 6 months, ugh. Just a little frustrating, I suppose, maybe I should blame it on the altitude here, lol.

  4. I haven't been brave enough to try salads yet. eggs and cheese do it to me every time, though. Of course, I forget that they don't agree with me and eat it and then feel like crud for a couple hours. They were a staple for me in the first 4weeks post-op. it's crazy how things change!
